Re: Aywas - A somewhat new take on the whole petsite thing

Unfortunately, the pet list is not visible unless you have an account, currently. It used to be, but that must have gotten lost in the code overhaul. o.o I would offer to cap them, but there are hundreds. Alecko, are you using Internet Explorer? I believe the recently-overhauled site coding not yet ...

Aywas - A somewhat new take on the whole petsite thing

Aywas! I'm not really sure how to describe this site, but it's cool. It's been around for close to a year now and still going strong. Until now, it's been in Alpha/Beta and has had a looot of stuff changed around. It is, as of now, in its final version, and is currently in the process of implementin...

Re: Pokemon Generation V Thread/Discussion

I think this gen is looking better than the fourth. I'm not sure why, but I'm actually a bit excited. The pig starter is adorable, the "grass snake" is so-so, and the otter is so derpy and dorky looking that I feel kinda sorry for it. The man-trainer is good though, for the first time sinc...

Re: Pokemon Generation V Thread/Discussion

For some reason, its silhouette makes me think it will be orange. I have no idea why. Its body shape looks a lot like Lucario, but I'm skeptical about it being an evolution of that line. A Mightyena evolution would be pretty sweet, and a stand-alone werewolf Pokemon could be pretty cool. I haven't b...

Re: Baby Krawk and Lutari

Wow. I don't visit here often, sign in less often, and comment even rarer, but holy hell. These are completely godawful. Not just regular customized bad, I literally recoiled from the screen. These are supposed to be made by professional artists? When I first loaded this page I thought I'd been punk...

Re: Revamped Chibi Chelon

Quite nice actually, especially for what it is (a Turdle Chelon). This pet actually manages to get right on the mark with cute eyes. A lot of the jelly eyes on pets in this current era of Subeta style have landed in an uncanny valley sort of place in between 'cute' and 'creepy' (at least in my opini...

Re: Morostide Time!

'Scuse me for being tragically out of the loop, but I have a couple questions if anyone feels like answering.

I got a couple questions. Firstly, does the Werewolf hex still exist? Secondly, is it fixed this year? Thirdly, can you still keep a hex indefinitely by never updating your avatar?

Re: Faerie Hissi

Cripes. I haven't played Neo in ages but I still check up on color release threads here for occasional laughs, lol whats, and nostalgia. This thing drove me out of the woodwork to actually comment on how awful it is. It's practically the poster child for lazy, awful faeries of the post-devamp era. T...

Re: Revamped Chibi Hikei, Malticorn, and Keeto!

Wow. I'm pretty shocked at how well the Hikei turned out. I miss the adorable little hand-paw-feet of the old one, but wow--this one is actually... cute? And well drawn. It's front feet are a mess, but that seems to be a given on Hikeis. The rest of it though--damn! That is some serious adorableness...

Re: Createable draiks...Operation: Stalk and hoard!!

...Seriously? Draiks? Wow. Chalk this up as something I would have never though Neopets would do in a million years. Next I expect Lutaris will be poundable, and customization will be optional, and all the paint brushes will be in the hidden tower for a fixed price. If the Darigan Draik still existe...

Re: Hydrus Swampie and Wyllop revamps

I wasn't aware that Wyllop was on the revamp list. :( I don't get this new trend of super-light shading. It just looks... flat. And often bad. That and a considerable loss of detail all over the pet (most noticeable on the ear and back fin)... I'm glad they fixed the 'pancake style' face that the ol...

Initial release: Hurry up and spend your points now because the prize shop will only be up a short time! An hour later: Don't spend your points yet because we still have more stuff to release! (cue obnoxious 'staff just screwed up but we'll never admit it' smilie) Whoa conflicting messages. I though...

Re: Omen Island Celebration!

Well, I decided to sign up for the thing and mess around a bit. I don't really play Subeta anymore, and wasn't willing to put forth any money/effort/time to actually get much of anything, but couldn't hurt, right? With a Lucent, a Wizard's Staff, and a Phoenix Potion on my 300 HP pet I scored 18 who...

Re: Glade Pets!

I'm quite impressed with the Manchu. I noticed right away that it was based on the Madagascar lemur guy and I am particularly happy that the resemblance is mostly in the face and expression rather then props. (As in, it would still look like him if it didn't have the hat, but wouldn't look like him ...

Re: Torrey revamp poll

I like this one quite a lot. The tweaked pose and slight head shrinkage make all the difference in the world. My only problem with it is that the top of the head (ears and bangs) seems rather 'soft' looking compared to the old revamp but that's a stylistic nitpick. If I had never seen the second ver...
