Re: Spectrum/Blacklight Endeavor and (Revamped) Telenine
If the telenine naturally had a stomach that curved outwards, then a fold would make sense. Telenines have always had lean stomachs, though- and the line of the stomach has always followed a smooth curve, even in the hunched poses like bloodred and reborn. http://subeta.net/images/pets/telenine_ange...

Re: New Experiment, #585
Wow, yeah, for real? It's not SUPPOSED to be perfect spider/insect/arachnid/anything anatomy. It's a weird experiment pet and it's supposed to be freaky and mismatched. I'm not sure why you felt the need to go completely crazy on ~anatomy redlines~? It's not that I "didn't do the research"...

Re: Spectrum/Blacklight Endeavor and (Revamped) Telenine
The three telenines you posted have the chest indentation, but in all three it doesn't actually affect the curve of the stomach. http://i45.tinypic.com/2s8mwlx.png The nightmare, glade and glacier telenines all have a single line denoting the line of the stomach, with the line of the chest indentati...

Re: New Experiment, #585
The anatomy on this is so poorly thought out, I have to wonder how anyone thought this pet was ready for release. The creature's limbs are obviously meant to resemble a spider's, but the artist clearly didn't look at an insect or arachnid before attempting to draw them. Instead, we get six poorly-po...

Re: Spectrum/Blacklight Endeavor and (Revamped) Telenine
You really gotta be stretching to see that as a penile sheath. It's not stretching at all- there is absolutely no reason for that line to be there unless it's denoting either a sheath or loose skin that's been stapled up after liposuction. http://i1051.photobucket.com/albums/s437/emoljek/090fa8f9.p...

Re: Spectrum/Blacklight Endeavor and (Revamped) Telenine
http://images.subeta.net/pets/telenine_spectrum.png ...I'm kind of concerned by how much that stray line on the telenine's stomach makes it look like it has a penile sheath. I thought the pet art was supposed to be genderless? And weren't the telenines supposed to be Arbor's species? She certainly ...

I love how the xotl's tongue is a leupak's tongueclaw.
Way to original concepts.

Re: New pet: Xotl
Anatomy-wise, these are really poorly done. I can't understand why the artist, who appears to have some rudimentary understanding of frog anatomy (see: scribble), would choose to give such a creature dog-like legs. Frogs don't naturally stand like that, unless they are in motion (they do not maintai...

Re: Lasirus possible revamp!
I don't like it. It's really pixelated. Like, overly so. I understand that .gifs are low quality, but hell, that's one of the worst I've ever seen. The eyes are my next major dislike. Nestly's eyes, in general, are flat and lifeless. And it looks... What's the word for the opposite of cross-eyed? Wh...

Re: Chelon (Turdle) Possible Revamp
Chelon sounds like archelon, which was an ancient sea turtle. I seriously love this revamp. It is a drastic change, but one for the better, in my opinion, as the Turdle is in serious need of a revamp. I love the shell, and the scales on the fins and head. The beak could be sharper, but it's still am...

Re: Graveyard Sheeta Revamp and New Glacier Keeto
I always thought Sheeta had hooves. o_o But I honestly don't see a difference in personality between old and new Sheeta, they both have that tilt to the head, and the same smirk, even if half of the new one's face is missing. The old one was just as emaciated, although not in as much detail, and it ...

Re: Possible Anyu Revamp!
The first thought that came to mind was "OMFGIOREK!". Which is a good thing. I think the gold bracewinglets did it, because Iorek's armor is gold... Hahaha. So the movie made Iorek the human one? Seriously, in the book, Iorek's armour was silver-grey comet-metal, all rusty and such. It wa...
