Joy! I just transferred a pet from a lab account to her permanent spot. It was easy and not at all anxiety-inducing.
I love this new feature.

Re: Baby Starling Dilemma
Have a look online, or in a phonebook, to see if there are any wildlife rehabilitation places where you are. Bird places, especially, since they've got special needs. If you phoned up a zoo they might be able to get you in touch with one. At one point I had the world's dumbest mockingbirds living in...

Who wrote this FAQ and what have they done with the normal Neopets staff? They got it right! I'm astounded.
And, yes, yes, a thousand times yes please to the consolidation of and/or more pets on each account. Make it so!

Huh. My gut instinct is to flail about how Change Is Bad On Neopets (in all fairness it usually is) but I can see myself getting accustomed to this.
And, yes. More pet space. Lots more. Combine-my-accounts more. Get on it, team.

Re: Steampunk!
Be sure to spend a moment thanking the great-granddaddy of all this stuff: Jules Verne. The Smithsonian was kind enough to put a ton of his illustrations online , and they're nice and big so you can get all the detail out of the engravings. Some of my favorites.... A projectile train to the Moon. I ...

If you haven't seen the Robots of the Victorian Era page yet, you must. It's delightful.

Re: RL Achievements and ToW
It's a handheld camera for people with significantly more upper-body strength than I have. The camera body, unloaded, weighs 5 pounds. The film holder adds another pound to that. I just put them on my bathroom scale to check. This is just the film and camera: the flash attachment allegedly takes D b...

Re: Subetart : 27 Steampunk Sheeta?! Concept!
I love steampunk as an aesthetic. If you want fresh-built Victorian steampunk, go for lots of shiny brass, filigreed metalwork, dark wood, thick glass. Make everything elegant. Contrariwise, if you want post-apocalyptic steampunk, (I'm not sure what this properly is, but I see this theme a lot under...

I got a 1948 Graflex press camera for my birthday.
My brain overloaded when I opened it up, so all I can really say about it is: enormous, heavy, complicated, old, and omg so pretty.

The way Neo gets things done, I don't think we have to worry about this for another year or two yet.Error: Sorry, that category is not published yet.

I gave up in the middle of the code bit. (Life gets busy at the worst times.) Therefore, I am something entirely appropriate:

Oooooooh. I like the roughness in the flippers and head. The shell, I'd think, needs some texture to it - as is, the shine on the shell contrasts oddly with the critter's flesh, almost as though it's made of molded plastic. Make that shell a bit less bumpy, scuff it up, set the gems deeper in and yo...

Re: Editorial Time! (With yet another new editorial!)
Actually I think when they start to make weapons wearable many of cool looking weapons (specially species weapons) that are useless on the battledome will have some purpose in life. That I could go for. I've wanted to put the Iron Lupe set on my Lupe ever since I first saw it. (I did, in Photoshop,...

That gets shuffled into the aptly-named Stuff folder, which is periodically cleaned out and everything in...
