I think this is a great pet, not overdone. The light look great, adding a little bit of colour. I don't see why there'd be any wiring for them though. That would kind of look strange. The bow looks quite nice too.

The same for me. there's no black glow in the flash version. This weird effect is also on a lot of glowing or ghost pets.

Does anyone else see the greyish haze around it? It's especially noticeable when on a white background, but you can still see it on a darker one. It's like a black glow... or is it just my computer?

I think it's quite plausible they got the idea from those old cards. There aren't any other Zombie Neopets TCG cards out there, and it seemed like a coincidence that they chose those two. And they're in the same format as other pet colours like Maraquan. Who knows? Maybe they planned it from a while...

I don't really mind I guess. People have made a big deal of it everywhere but all they did was list them in a table. It's not really a big change or anything. :/
But then again I never use the explore map at all, so it doesn't really effect me.

I actually quite like the new Jetsam. It's better than the old standard pose by a long shot, but the fists kind of ruin it.
I agree that Faerie kind of looks like electric, also the wings don't really look like wings, more like enlarged fins, or some sough of super hero wings.
