Re: Achievements and Tales of Woe
The Trident is, imo, the best investment you can make outside of a phoenix quill, a 100% freezer and a decent healing scroll. It's the best weapon for a lot of the tiers, in my opinion, particularly tier 10, where it gets its max attack and a full wind block. As it scales, too, some of its attack go...

Re: *HINT HINT* New Plot?
The wait is starting to annoy me. I understand why they would want to hype it up. But the small amount of excitement I had has definitely fizzled.

Re: Madge is going to London/France, can we say hi or someth
Heh, Southampton is actually the closest major city to 'home' so I've been there a lot. And I can't say it's anything special. It serves as a decent base, I suppose, for seeing neighbouring towns and attractions. But the city itself is pretty residential, with the centre having nothing you wouldn't ...

Re: Madge is going to London/France, can we say hi or someth
I actually study in South Kensington and live a sweet 15 minute walk away. May does mark my final year and the traumatic exam season, so I guess I'll see closer to the time. I did go to the second Subeta meet-up in London, though, and was pleasantly surprised by how not-awkward it was. Re: London th...

Re: Pokemon Generation VI predictions/desires
I was so excited! The starters look great - particularly the fire one! Then I saw it was released in October. In Japan. And I don't have a 3DS.
Quelling excitement.
Quelling excitement.

Re: Real Life Resolutions for 2013
I will be very happy this year if I figure out what I want to do with my life. I graduate this year so a job is incoming. I just don't know what, at all. There's way way waaay too much choice. How are you supposed to know what you want to go into with so many choices? Pah. All I know is I want to be...

Thank you so much Griffin! Your gifts were so fantastic. :D All the books! The books! Books are so expensive, but I managed to get another AP for my battle pet and attach another scroll which is super. 8D And thank you for the amazing mix of wears! I've been having such HA block recently, but new it...

Re: 2012 NC Secret Santa - Sign-ups
Heh, I just signed on quickly to do Christmas-y things online... while Marah was sending my 27(!!!) gift boxes over. :D :D :D I haven't dared open them yet - we're supposed to be going out ASAP and I would hate to not give them the full attention they deserve, so will be posting my brags tomorrow. B...

Yeah, it's a bit strange to give us an NC item when... you're not buying it from the NC Mall. Really don't understand why it couldn't have been a normal item. Oh well, they're quite pretty I guess! And the immature side of me let out a laugh at the Yurble's excited gesturing, I'm ashamed to admit. ...

Re: Possible big site layout revamp coming
Have you guys tried Arvee at all , concerning the speed of loading? It works in a pretty similar way, displaying all the items, and I find the loading times to be pretty fair even with a mediocre connection. With the screenshot a lot of the information does seem unnecessary but I can imagine them tr...

Re: Pokemon Black & White 2
Ooh that's super interesting! Thanks for sharing Ty. :D Very strange that there's never been a ground/fighting pokemon. It feels like such an intuitive combination! I can't say I have a lot of love for grass types, personally. The last one I used was, hm... Breloom in Emerald? I guess thematically t...

Re: Pokemon Black & White 2
I'm being tragically slow playing through the game! I'm enjoying it but think I might have OD'd on the mons before the release - I did Nuzlocke's in HeartGold and Platinum and completed an edited version of Black. http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/058.gif http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/110.gif http://s...

Re: A New Battling Era Awaits...
I did have a play around, but it was pretty tedious. The animation is cool, sure, but it got very old very fast. I gave up after my third battle. Also very disappointed that there wasn't an effort made to fix the actual problems with the dome and that it seems like mainly an aesthetic change. Also, ...

Alchemy Request
I know we have a few zombies around these parts and my usual undead contact is MIA at the moment, so I have a small request! Would any zombies be able to make me copies of these books and these books at all using alchemy? (edit: also found out I need the Big Book Of Hearts too!) I will reimburse any...
