Re: Minor art updates
For some reason, I have gone my entire Neopian life thinking that Uni was male. His/her entire appearance and behaviour in my head (and yes, I have thought about his/her behaviour, for fanfic purposes) seems out of whack now. Am I sexist for feeling that? Not that any of that doesn't pale into insig...

Re: New Plot: The Faeries' Ruin
I don't especially care if I miss out on a Fearless Deed; I am NOT doing that step again. *swirly eyes* I must have been wandering around in there for hours. Got it wrong the first time (didn't realise there could be multiple rooms with the same description) and wasted about an hour and a half.

Re: Minor art updates
I'm not keen. The old Bank Skeith had less detail, but he did have a smugly relaxed expression that said "billionaire tycoon" to me. This one looks suspicious, as if he thinks you're going to make off with the coins on the desk (which are surely the barest fraction of his wealth). Also, th...

Re: Pteri Day Predictions
And Nonexistent-Pet-That-Dream-Could-Swear-She's-Seen for this week goes to the Tyrannian Pteri. I was convinced it existed. I'll call Transparent and Woodland. Let's make the most of the new colours, why not? A Pteri that could act as its own portable nest would be fun, and Transparent could be int...

Re: Converting Pets now has a PIN
Totally called it. I was bugging TNT about this a year ago and more. Still, good to see.
Now if they'd get around to labelling all morphing/transforming items unambiguously, that'd be another good move.

Re: New Plot: The Faeries' Ruin
I'm kinda sick of battling personally-- wish we had the choice to rearrange bookshelves or whatever while the BDers got on with it. Long-haul community-spirit puzzle step, pleeeeease, TNT? Still, people seem to be enjoying the BD steps, and I know it's been too long since they had any, so I'll go wi...

Re: 2000 Users = Free Pet Slot
So, this would be why I got adverspammed on Twitter with "Like Neopets? You'll love Subeta!" and a bunch of signup links.
Congratulations to all of you. Wish Neo could raise our pet slots like it was no big deal.

Re: New Plot: The Faeries' Ruin
Why is the achievement called "I am Disappoint" and not "I am Disappointed"? Is this one of TNT's pop culture jokes that happens to have gone over my head this time? I'm disappoint(ed) to see that the plot main page doesn't seem to be keeping track of how many rooms you've cleare...

Re: New Plot: The Faeries' Ruin
Well, it seems like TNT have called a halt to the battling. If that was a BD plot step, then I fail utterly to see what all the fuss has been about all these years. It felt less like an achievement, more like repeatedly pressing the button for a lift to arrive. But if it appeals to some hardcore pla...

Re: New Plot: The Faeries' Ruin
Anyone with battle pets, we could seriously use help even if you've hit your cap. Based on what's happened so far, it seems we'll only get the highest tier challengers (which may be the qualification for the achievement) after we've cleared a specific number of minions. Unfortunately, most players a...

Re: New Plot: The Faeries' Ruin
New step is out. (Read the comic, then go to the Deserted Fairground.) And I have only one thing to say: Puzzle plot. Oh yes. ;^-^; I got a little bit heart-sinky when I saw a NC icon linked to the plot, but it turns out it's just a giveaway and nothing to do with the plot steps at all. Rejoice! And...

Re: New Plot: The Faeries' Ruin
http://www.neopets.com/~ljtrffffffffhghhhhhh ^ Transcript for the Flash-impaired. Not a substitute for reading the comic, but I tried to make a good job of it. While running that up, I was increasingly annoyed by Hanso's paws. Since when do Ixis have paws ? Did someone not get the memo that they're ...

Re: New Plot: The Faeries' Ruin
New chapter is up! We don't know a lot more than we did, but this is looking like an intriguing setup. The characters look distinctly interesting, and the back-and-forth banter between them feels right for this plot, rather than something forced in where it shouldn't be. I'm sorry to say it, but I t...

Re: New Plot: The Faeries' Ruin
Man, I am so excited about this. Whatever kind of plot it turns out to be-- Flash-centric, puzzle or BD-- I like the style that the comic's started off with. The new characters seem like a lot of fun, and it's interesting to see some older ones working together, making the point that no Neopian worl...
