Re: Spectrum/Blacklight Endeavor and (Revamped) Telenine
I think if you're at the point where it's grossing you out, you need to step away from the keyboard and get some fresh air. It's a line. On a cartoon dog. The artist has explained to you why she put it there. You're the only person who seems bothered by it. There's nothing wrong with that, but for g...

Re: Summer Event: Councilor's Cruise
The Healer's move stumped me for a bit, too. I eventually found her, but now the one I'm stuck on is the token exchange thing that used to be next to the wizard. How do I turn my tokens in? I know you can do them one by one, but is there still a way to mass add them? This is probably just me being c...

Re: Summer Event: Councilor's Cruise
Rats! Beating Moradon 10 times was no problem for my battle pet, but I can't beat Bonesaw even once. Of course he drops a creepy tooth item that would be perfect for my creepy dentist pet. Oh well. I'd rather not be able to beat him even once than only be able beat him four times or something. I thi...

Re: Five pet slots!
This is surprisingly generous! I wonder what prompted the change? A while ago, Keith seemed pretty adamant the price of mystical plushies would not be lowered. I'm glad he reconsidered! 2000 per slot is much more reasonable. I bet it will be a very profitable decision. In true subeta fashion, though...

Re: New Features/Updates
The change is also shrinking the pet images or something, at least on my screen, which is making them slightly blurry. I'm super impressed they chose to sacrifice art quality so that I can have a giant bar showing pet happiness, which counts for absolutely nothing. Hunger is slightly less useless, b...
Re: Vesnali
Apparently you needed to hit a count of 250 (split any way between picking up trash and donating seeds) to get the rake and the diary. I don't know what about that is intuitive, considering both achievements stopped at 50, but sure okay let's go with that. People seem to be sort of grumbly about it,...
Re: Vesnali
I like the garden idea too. I assumed the time limit was mostly to prevent throwing the value of recycle points out of whack, but yeah, it's annoying. Definitely could have been explained away better. And I'm useless at any timed thing that doesn't give me an alert. For example, I think Dechroma has...
Re: Vesnali
I just find it strange that they're retiring anything at all. They haven't retired any of the Menagerie stuff from year to year, and there's waaaaay more of that to sift through. If anything, you'd think that stuff would be the first to go. Fashion and trends and all that. Flowers and stickers and b...

Re: Tigrean Revamp
If we weren't allowed to post controversial opinions here, I'd basically never get to post anything. But I'm a honeybadger, I post what I want. That's the great thing about NC. As long as you have at least some logic behind your opinion, and you aren't just saying things for the sake of saying thing...

Re: Tigrean Revamp
...what are you talking about? Wings isn't speaking for the whole site. All she said is that a considerable number of people prefer the old version, and that's absolutely true. You just said yourself that at least 1600 people prefer the old version. That's not everyone, but it's a significant portio...

Re: Tigrean Revamp
But Jill had to go to Luxe first with this new idea to change the Tigrean. Apparently she liked it as did Keith (I assume he has some say in this), so tbh, that analogy doesn't work. Whatever staff says goes. =/ ...nnnope, pretty sure that analogy works just fine. Tbh. Also, if "whatever staff...

Re: Steamworks Everything! (Chai, Pherret, Chelon, Feli, Mon
The ears are tea strainers! And the antennas are electric kettle plugs and teaspoons. And the lower half of the body is a kettle xD I kind of went as far as I could with tea related jokes for the chai c; (The chai is actually my favourite of my steamwork pets now, I think. I just was happy with the...

Re: Steamworks Everything! (Chai, Pherret, Chelon, Feli, Mon
Steamwork has quickly become my least favorite redraw colour, but this is actually a pretty good batch! The Chelon is great, although it doesn't look very water-safe. I was expecting something more like a submarine, although maybe they're saving that concept for the Tutani or Torrent. I agree with T...

Tigrean Revamp (Completed May 31, 2013)
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y66/skellingtonbats/tigrean.png http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y66/skellingtonbats/poll_tigrean.png As always, the new art is very pretty. And for once, an artist (Bean, from the sounds of it?) actually removed emo-hair and chest-fluff, rather than adding it! Hoor...

Re: Love Epidemic 2012
I agree with Seerow, put this plot out of its misery. Nothing is happening. Nothing has happened. The pacing of the whole thing has been disastrous and effectively killed any and all of the good aspects. A large part of that was the allegedly unavoidable downtime, but certainly not all of it. I lite...
