Summer NC meetup, London - who's interested?

Alright, I've been talking with Jazzy and saying "we ought to do this" for a few, er, months now, so, here we go: I'm thinking it would be cool for Neocoloursy people in the UK (or very northern France, is anyone still there?) to meet up this summer. Arbitrarily for ease of travel (for me ...

Re: Minecraft

I bought Minecraft in alpha (investment, methought), but haven't actually played it significantly since. If there's enough interest, when I get my server up at home I'd be happy to set up an NC-only minecraft server to play on?

Re: Keyboard dilemma and WPM

*clank* *creak* Did someone summon me? Ooh, computer hardware thread. This is a topic I feel quite strongly about, forgive me if this comes off a bit ranty or preachy: The three things worth spending the most money on are the keyboard, monitor, and mouse (and for me, in that order). They are what yo...

I believe it is a new feature to do with geolocation? :P

Of course, because the board is UK based, we should invert the whole site for you really, Madge...

Re: Macs and Math

Mac yes, mathtype no - but I notice from their page that Mathtype runs on Windows too, is there a reason for the Mac requirement?

Also, if it's a short job, 30-day trial of Mathtype *ahem* :-D

Re: RL Achievements and ToW

Achievement: I just went to Sweden for the weekend. Yesterday was the best day of the year so far, meterologically speaking, lucky me! And I got back today without ash-related hijinks. Win all around.

Woe: back at work tomorrow?

Re: Birthday Thread.

Happy birthday Huggles - if you're in need of clarifying your age as 27, you might find it helpful to explain that you just turned 27 and 12 months ;-) Although I do have one friend who recently turned 21 and 12 months again for at least the third time ... we're starting to suspect he's in denial (p...

Re: Sexuality

Sorry I'm late to this party - I voted earlier in the week (heterosexual), but haven't had time to expand upon this yet, as I don't consider myself to be particularly traditionally-oriented within that. I was somewhat surprised to find that the distinction I wanted to make was made mostly by you, Da...

Re: Neocolours hosting donations thread 2010 - Now finished!

Neocolours, the response of you all over the last few weeks has been brilliant. So many of you have rallied round and contributed money, this has been the best fundraising drive yet! *drumroll* The total amount raised (after currency conversions and any transfer fees) from you all is £196.98 ! At th...

Re: Neocolours hosting donations thread 2010!

Gah! Of course I do. 19 February, people! (sorry, I've been away for a few days, combined with apparent blindness to my own thread means I missed this!) So, final bump - if there's anyone who's not donated this time around and wants to, your opportunity disappears in 52 hours! After that I'll add up...
