Re: Can somebody find a screenshot for me?

You don't need to view them; just download them and open them in a decompiler.

Re: Can somebody find a screenshot for me?

I extracted the shape from the flash and took a screenshot. I'm afraid I can't do much more than grab individual panels—theoretically, it'd be possible to do a proper reconstruction, but suffice to say that's a project well beyond my means. Have you considered writing the NT about getting the comics...

Re: Post minor achievements/woes here!

So I popped on over to Neo, for the first time in ages, to see what the ad/layout situation was like now. While I was there I thought I'd check out whether Invasion of Meridell ever got put back up. Well, looks like IoM is gone for good, but... ...then I beat NeoQuest II. For the first time ever. Oh...

Luminaire 2012 (Plot?)

There was an interesting newspost yesterday about Vanya's Workshop: Hallo, leetle ones. Have you heard story of shoemaker and elves? Probably many have, but I vill telling short version for everyone else. Once time, there vas shoemaker. He vas vorking very hard to make money, but he is having so man...

Re: Possible big site layout revamp coming

Web Design Trends I Hate: • The bubble thing. Not every element needs rounded corners and drop shadows. Oh well. • Fixed horizontal menus. It's bad enough when they're permanently at the top; the whole page turns top-heavy and claustrophobic. But the ones partway down the page that click into place ...

Achievement: Finally hit Tier 2!

Woe: It really doesn't make any difference, does it.

Re: Possible big site layout revamp coming

Preliminary remarks: "variated": not a word. Substantive remarks: There are a lot of things I could say about this, but... hrm. Ierosbats is right. Griffin is extra right. The timeline is dumb; the layout is overblown; I'd probably flog anyone who suggested to my face that navigation shoul...

Re: Summer Event: Councilor's Cruise

Finally scraped by the jellyfish for the jam... by three hit points. That was aggravating.

The healer is the little white-and-gold dome just behind the souk, Seerow. Er, speaking of which, where is this new weapon shop exactly?

Edit: Ah, thanks. Not that it's much use to me, heh...

Re: Summer Event: Councilor's Cruise

Once again, the difference between the easiest and second-easiest challengers is the difference between a one-hit victory and getting my ass kicked. There aren't even any freezers until Tier 4. Edit: Hmm... After a slight weapons reshuffle, I find I'm nearer to victory than I thought. Anyone have a ...

Re: Summer Event: Councilor's Cruise

Sacred Lands is up. Pretty pretty and all that. But you may want to save the quiz-taking for later; I and several people on the forums seem to be getting wrong results with what I'm absolutely sure are the right answers. Unpleasant.

Thanks for the heads up on the not-quite-right quiz answer, guys. (Also, gripe: where the hell is the ship?)

Re: Summer Event: Councilor's Cruise

First thought: Hey, actual location maps! Second thought: Ew, pixel image maps. So bad for liquidity! So many other ways they could've done this. On the one hand, I'm super excited about the prospect of all new maps; they'd give Subeta a sense of place I fear it sorely lacks as it is. On the other h...

Re: Achievements and Tales of Woe

I've been on a hell of a CSS kick lately, but I ran out of horrible design errors on the site itself to fix. So I gave up and started writing code for imaginary money. I've sort of shunned standard procedure on these things (Zeus on a cross, have you seen the specifications other coders in that foru...

Re: New Features/Updates

Subeta will be offline on July 15 from 2 a.m to 6 a.m. Comments are disabled for this post! Uh... Really? I have nothing against a bit of downtime. (I assumed this was meant to work on whatever was hanging the HA servers, but that's just been fixed, so evidently that's not the case.) I'd rather hav...
