I don't think much of the colours they've chosen for Striped - I don't think they go together particularly well, and since the gimmick of Striped pets is just the stripes as far as I'm concerned this is more of a miss than a hit. Tyrannian is different, though, and my immediate reaction was I like i...

That's Axe ;)

It's called Lynx over here, probably because Axe is a pretty stupid name for a deodorant (not that Lynx is actually much better, thinking about it).

Nope, sorry, the only AX I've ever heard of was a small car made by Citroen in the 1980's. A friend of mine used to have one, and it was crap!

Though occasionally I watch Hell's Kitchen, because Gordon Ramsey is even worse than Simon (American Idol) and Anne (Weakest Link) combined. British TV is really in the doldrums if those are our most popular exports - a chef who swears gratuitously just for the sake of swearing, a record-company ex...

Awwww!

*dies of cute*

It's... just... so... awww. The standard Acara is cute enough but this one is mad. I want to hug it.

I need one.

It's nice but it's not great to me. Looks more bored than depressed, it's a long way off the worst Grey pet, but it's still not one I'd want to own.

You also totally sidestepped my question - you say that banning personal ownership of anything on moral grounds is wrong, yet I will assume that you were primarily thinking about gun ownership and that even you would draw the line somewhere. If morality is not a valid reason for banning ownership ho...

Oh dear... where to begin... But denying people the right to own what they want on "moral" grounds, personal preference, or other baseless reasons is wrong. So, I assume you're okay with Iran developing and owning nuclear weapons? Al Quaeda, the same? and it's fine for individuals to own t...

Yeah... awards are for actors. :P Hey now...sometimes techs get them too! *gripes about the little show I did last week and specifically the way how, having bent over backwards to squeeze the director's virtually unworkable demands out of literally zero budget by begging, borrwing and bodging eveyt...

Personally I'm not a great fan of the idea - while I admit it would be fun, I've seen similar awards at other forums and it can come across as cliquey and a bit of an exercise in ego-massaging to those not fully acquainted with the more regular/popular posters.

Hmm.... more quadruped Royals. I think the Kau would have looked rather odd drawn biped though. The three-quarter view on the Royalboy works well in Happy but because it is not consistent through all its poses it makes the pet overall look a little strange. Royalgirl's yellow is slightly too pale as...

It's a Jubjub... it's one of those sticky bug things you attach to the side of your monitor with something like "I'm an Express Retrofit Sprockets bug!" written on a silk strip coming out of it. It's never going to really look any better no matter how evil they try and make it look. To me,...

Out of interest, has anyone rated an Invisible pet yet, and if so what did you rate it? I've been giving them all 1 so far.

That all seems to work, nifty feature! I'm finding it quite tricky to subjectively judge a particular colour's worth - do I score a good redraw of a species I don't particularly like above an average redraw of a pet I like? What about the basic colours? Should they score less because they aren't as ...

It looks like it's dressed up, more than anything. Like it's not a real Darigan creature, it's just pretending to be one. Those were my thoughts too, it looks like it's dressed up as one of the Munsters for some halloween fancy dress party. The wings, teeth and grey 'beard' look added on. But that'...
