Re: Pokemon Generation V Thread/Discussion
I finally got White and am getting started. Dear me, this cat creature is such a wimp, but I've been promised it gets better. I'm having a hard time not reading all this thread as I'd like to have some surprises as I go through on what the new pokemans look like. But yay, pokemon!

Re: Background for a grey ixi... tranquility or terror?
I thought of the cover of darkness, but it knocks off the shrubbery. Lawl @ intimidating forest. Even without a face on the tree it does look rather foreboding, now that you mention it. Lot's of shadows and with that ring of mushrooms and the one on the tree looming I'm sure Daeg is convinced the fu...

Re: Professor Milton Clodbottle's Astounding Habitarium (Bet
I'm still just trying to get mine to 50, so not gotten bored with it running itself, yet. I could kick myself for having put off starting it for so long?. That's a cute (but almost scary-organized) system you have going on there. The only things I do is color code my houses to know what's in them an...

Background for a grey ixi... tranquility or terror?
So I finished Daeg's lookup at long last: http://www.neopets.com/petlookup.phtml?pet=Monadaeg Beyond re-doing the lookups for all my pets I'm buckling down and finding "looks" for all my side acct pets. As I don't move those pets around too often, I want to find what I consider to be the b...

Re: Maracite and Glowing Shoyru
Trench foot, that's what it is. Somehow nuclear radiation and trench foot have combined to sire this beastly color. I often like glowing pets, or at least find them to have a certain charm, but not this one.

Maratcite and Glowing Shoyru
http://pets.neopets.com/cp/s27dckzg/1/4.png http://pets.neopets.com/cp/jrg7xxx2/1/4.png Maractite pleases me well enough. The swirls are contoured to the body for the most part and aren't too overpowering. I do like how the one on the stomach looks sort of like a heart. Poor glowing apparently has ...

I wish we could keep a couple of the cures as wearables, too. I like the splints and slorgs, especially.

Re: Glowing and 8-Bit Chomby
I took one look at that 8-bit chomby and started humming the underground music from level 2 of the original Super Mario Bros. It was a completely involuntary reaction. Wow.

Re: Daily Dare!
Saw the DD page this morning and totally did a double take, then kind of chucked knowing that I'd already beaten AAA. I guess this is TNT's way to try to get everyone hooked, like when they gave out a decent stash of wearable items with the first Advent Calendar after customization hit. It is a cute...

Re: Items for an antique/junk gallery?
Oh what a neat idea for a gallery. Honestly, I haven't been so impressed with an idea for a gallery in quite some time. If I ever do manage to spy something that looks like it might work I'll have to notify you.

Dang, I have Celebi-envy, lol. Still, sounds like you had a blast, even if the only "cool kids" were literally kids.

Re: RL Achievements and ToW
Got my teaching certificate in the mail, yay. Well.... not technically. In all reality it's my 'she's certified to teach so give her a job so she can do her one year internship and get her official teaching certificate.' Still, it's a big step in the right direction, even with a dismal job market. S...

Or if it was orangey colored fall leaves (some variety would be nice) it'd look like it was stealing a scene out of Just Can't Wait to be King.

Man...strawberry is so ugly. Uhm, how about zombie that'll look less nasty than the previous year's second offering. And maracite. It's the new big craze.
