Re: NaNoWriMo 2008 Support Thread!

This last 10k is probably going to kill me this week. I know we have another weekend an all but technically speaking I only have up until Saturday to win since I don't want to miss out just because the site gets busy after lunch on St Andrew's day. The plot is going well so far though I am far from ...

Re: NaNoWriMo 2008 Support Thread!

I'm ahead despite having very little time to myself for the last few days. Caught u with the word count yesterdy by spending the whole day in the house with noone else and managed to push myself over todays final word count this morning. Hopefully I can manage to get 50k by the end of saturday ^_^.

Re: NaNoWriMo 2008 Support Thread!

EDIT
WOOHOO! Worked off that word debt and then some. Now I'm back on track and just ahead of the game again. Now I can afford to treat my poor old brain to some nice, midnumbing destruction in the form of Cloverfield.

Re: NaNoWriMo 2008 Support Thread!

Currently behind because I was too tired t write after work yesterday >_>. Hoping to catch up over the weekend and am trying to catch up this morning and failing miserably. Oh well, I've got tomorrow evening to try to kick myself in the behind to get all caught up.

Re: NaNoWriMo 2008 Support Thread!

Double posting because it has been a while. WOOHOO! I made it to 14K in just over an hour, not too bad for getting woken up rather rudely at half past seven this morning by an irate four year old. If I get more written later it will probably push me to 15k, which is well ahead of where I need to be ...

Re: Election 2008!

It's depressing that Prop 8 was even still winning from your previous comments. Let's hope that enough 'No' people came out and voted at the end of the day to put it away for good {though why do I get the feeling that they wouldn't have?} As I said before, I'm not even American and the bigotry surro...

Re: Election 2008!

Oh thank you to whatever dieties are up there! I didn't stay up to see the election coverage or Mr Obama's speech {which I am being told was absoutely amazing} but I am very, very pleased about it all ^_^. Let's hope that the Democrats can at least mae up for some of the mistakes that were made by t...

Re: NaNoWriMo 2008 Support Thread!

Yeah the reason I'm trying to get such a head start on my novel this year is that I've got at least 3 days off from writing it {19th, 20th and 21st for wedding things} and maybe an extra two on top of that if my parents decidee to be funny about me writing when I'm 'visiting' {the only reason I'm ba...

Re: NaNoWriMo 2008 Support Thread!

WOOT! After an intense three days of writing, I am ahead of my word count target, and it loks like I'll be keeping a comfortable lead all week with the ideas going around my head right now {even if most of them havve nothing to do with the plot I did have semi planned out before November 1st}. I jus...

Re: Five nightmares and a graveyard

I love all the Nightmare pets, they're all so evil yet pretty *_*. New colour ahoy for Ratican since Nightmare fits his backstory way more than Bloodred does and it looks suitably sadistic. The Kerubi is very nicely done, a great update, I do like the crazed blank expression, though I don't really l...

Re: NaNoWriMo 2008 Support Thread!

My second year doing it and this time I actually have a vague plot outline that I've been working on since last December {after seeing the Golden Compass oddly enough}. It follows the adventure of a Hippogryph shifter called Aneel after she's banished from her own society after she finds something o...

Re: Halloween Costumes!

Well, today we're allowed to dress up when we go to work. Sadly I don#t have my labcoats with me so I can't go as my usual mad scientist self {complete with charcoal stains, fake blood and frizzy hair} so I've decided to go as the stereotypical 'one day' writer {come on, Nano starts tommorow}. Got o...

Re: I'm New :)

I really ought to pay more attention to this particular part of the forums >_>. Hi there, gomababe here ^_^. I'm more of a lurker, but I've been here for a few years. I'm sure you'll settle in just fine though, everyone's usually willing to help. I do love your drawings though. I'm working on my own...

Re: Neocolours hosting donations thread

I would love to donate t the upkeep of the site, but unfortunately I can't manage to do that until my next wages go in at the end of the month >_>. I will, however, donate as soon as the money's in the bank ^_^.

Re: Trick or Treating!

Yeah I keep getting last year's stuff as well, it's getting a bit annoying since my trick or treat galery is supposed to represent all the new items *I've* found in any given year *pouts*.
