I don't know who had this argument back in the customization thread, but: They may not want to update two sets of art. So even if we ever get an option to get our old pets back I doubt there will be old style poses for new specie/colour combinations

Those bars are so fucking ugly. The Maraquan sidebar I loved so much, it's now just as hideous as the rest of them.

Well, the petimages are still on the server and everything *points at front page* but the code to insert the image on petlookups has been changed, and it doesn't point to an actual file but it's only a path. So it's rather a case of bad coding than imagefiles gone missing.

Well, hopefully if you select not to customise the pets, it would just default to the gif again... After all, it's glitchy, so no need to start panicking yet... But none of my pets were customized when beta ended, and since that is gone there is no option to uncustomize. If they were customized, wh...

But that would mean it's no longer optional. Well, besides that the option to customise has disappeared and since it's just past midnight over there I don't expect this to get fixed any soon. Waaaaaaaaaah! Petimages are gone. I can't see my pets on the lab ray page, no pics on lookups etc. They added a new url in this format: http://www.neopets.com/PETS_HOST/cpn/teaquilah/1/ but obviously not the images.
