Add me to the list of people who REALLY REALLY wants to see the Werewolf stuff living someplace that's not Chit-Chat. Does it really matter if people play silly word games there? People play silly games in chit-chat now ("answer the question of the person above you!"). Maybe we could make ...

Well, it's not so much an official NC chat as a bunch of us who might be on MSN and/or AIM and one of us (often Enri) will pull the others in and we end up spazzing about random stuff. Anyone's welcome to join, as long as they're on MSN or AIM talking to one of us at the time. *shrugs* That's actua...

I really would object to using the name Neocolours in the domain. I know Sam was proud of his site, and I don't think taking the name and saying that *we* are Neocolours and you left us you dirty snob so we'll take what we want from the old site and screw you is a very good game plan. =P Sam may no...

Huh. The things I miss by not reading other forum members' LJs. Frankly, just as well. I didn't even know there WAS a NC chat. Again, probably just as well. There's just something I don't like about chat. I feel compelled to point out that anything Jazzy or any other mod may have done or said that a...

*sigh* Are you talking about Ginger? I can't speak for the original poster but I'm assuming they're talking about the Kougra thing (in the thread about the new Lutari Paint Brush on the New Features forum). Which I agree wtih Jazzy really isn't relevant to this thread, as it was Jazzy speaking as a...

Clever modly action at work with the post above mine. :-) I recall the anime thing, though I don't recall everything that happened in relation to it, so I can't comment on what I think of the appropriateness of the action. Personally, I have no problem with mods locking threads that have degenerated...

We have got our own actual forum up and running. The issue is over a domain name. Since the domain name is going to cost somebody actual, real money which won't be refunded if we change our minds, or if Sam turns up and says "I don't like you using Neocolours," I think it's better ...

I suppose I shouldn't keep digging up dirt, but which thread was this? I don't recall, though if Ty felt the need to delete something I'm sure I'm approve wholeheartedly. :-)

Someone can PM me so as to avoid stirring up trouble if you prefer.

Or just tell me it's none of my business, of course. :-)

Er, because I don't think it is copyrighted as far as I know? I realize that the nature of the debate was never legal. I guess I'm just not sure I see him caring that much, given that he seems to have zero interest in the site anymore. This is what makes me lean towards the "easier to g...

 I subescribe to the NC livejournal community and I haven't been getting any posts about the mods or anything else much. What are the issues people are having? It doesn't seem to me like there's much moderation at all here, really, so not much to complain about. Or is that the nature of the c...

Ah, well, the problem was being presented as "We can't get Neocolours because it steps on Sam's toes." I'm not sure that's the case and I think we can be concerned about it if he complains. If the problem is that Neocolours just isn't available as a domain name than that's different. Howev...

I'm with Huggles and Madge. I have trouble seeing Sam going nuts about our using Neocolours as our domain name and if he want us to change, we can deal with it then.

Yeah, I'm endlessly amused by the fact that Firefox doesn't seem to always fill in the end of a URL properly, and I'll end up going to North Carolina's website when I'm trying to get here.

It's extra amusing as I live in North Carolina.

I'll look to see what I have, though it's not likely much. Would there really be copyright issues with downloading them from other sites? I can understand questions about fairness but the images are copyrighted by Neopets wherever we get them from. Another avenue might be to contact one of the sites...
