I fail to see how that's Woodland. That's a paint splattered (Graffiti? Jackson Pollock?) Scorchio standing in front of a slightly pathetic bush.

That's actually based on a real tree that looks paint-splashed like that, with thin bark that tends to peel. Wish I could remember what to google to find a photo.

That's what I keep asking them, but I've yet to get a response.

That one pixel thick black line on the top and left of the woodland scorchio really ties the whole thing together.

I'll admit I'm pleasantly surprised - I think these are both good.

Admittedly I thought the Woodland was playing the part of 'tree in the middle of a paintball arena' but Keleri is right - they're spot on with the eucalyptus tree. Bit of a thick outline but nothing too drastic, othwerwise it's nicely detailed - and colourful.

Eventide is on the better side of the standard for this colour, many little fluffy clouds, lots of stars, not unpleasant at all.

The tree is amazing and the artist certainly tried to come up with a new take on Woodland. I'm still not convinced that the Scorchio pulls it off. It's one thing to turn a Lenny into a macaw or a Gelert into a dalmation, but Scorchios don't look anything like trees, and taking off the wings and tacking on some spindly branches does not a tree make.

Woodland: At first I didn't even know what to think of this, but now that I know what type of tree it's based on I have to say it's really really nice, especially the texturing. Unfortunately, the branches meant to represent the wings don't look even look like part of the body. Maybe if there were more leaves?

Eventide: This has a good, even use of colors and no blatantly obvious gradients. The stars look a bit flat and the yellow lineart on the neck is a tad distracting, but overall it's pretty well done.
