Re: Transparent and Dimensional Eyrie
Er...what happened to their faces? Are they just not in their "happy" poses?

Re: Transparent and Dimensional Eyrie
Maybe someone finally realized beaks should never move or be expressive. Yeah? Haha no. Probably just not the happy poses, like you suggested. I dunno. It'll be easier to say whenever we get the larger versions, but the eyes do look angry on both.

Re: Transparent and Dimensional Eyrie
Transparent: The body looks fine from what I can see, but something's bothering me in the skull region. Is the beak directly continuing off the skull? I'll try and figure it out when the larger version comes out. The only other thing to note is that it lacks highlights, which might have helped with the texture (that and colored lineart, but I don't think Jumpstart's done a transparent with colored lineart yet).
Dimensional: Not a bad color choice, but the face is just a mush. -the stroke on the glow is way too thick. Might look better in the full size version.

Re: Transparent and Dimensional Eyrie
Skulls seem to give the JS artists a tough time. Or, well, anatomy in general.
This isn't as bad as the Transparent Peophin, but that skull needs to be fixed. Otherwise, it looks like Eyries have to use feeding tubes in order to eat cause there's no way that beak is moving.

Re: Transparent and Dimensional Eyrie
Eyries are my favorite Neopet, and Transparent is one of the few colors that allow for some really interesting details these days.
So this one is a little bit disappointing. Not terrible, but I definitely would have liked to have seen something more interesting.
Bird skulls are creepy, with crazy huge eye sockets and much more definition between skull and beak. There is so much potential, and instead we get a giant empty forehead. Bleh.
Random Google Image Example Photo:
Dimensional is nice. The colors kinda burn, but I think that's the point? I like the contrast of the blues though, quite a bit.
