I really want to like moehogs. They're one of those pets that I find basically charming, but which don't quite do it for me, so I'm constantly on the lookout for the redraw that will finally make me click with them, because that's usually what it takes (I'm lookin' at you, Buzz, Ixi, Jetsam and so on). I don't think I'd ever own a grey pet, but I tend to like them, I think because they're sort of quasi-redraws that illuminate what is already there in a pet without muddying things up with a lot of fins or what have you.
This ... does absolutely nothing for me.
As for that hair --
<img src="http://images.neopets.com/pets/happy/mo ... y_baby.gif">
-- what that really looks like to me is, it got its hair all done up with lots of hairspray and so on, and then someone dumped a bucket of water over it. That would make me want to smoke up too.

Not much effort went into redrawing this litle guy - Moehogs are not my thing (tho I can see why they're liked). This one just doen't bring much novelty to the table - not to grey one, not to moehog one. Decent but... unexciting.
An it really annoys me that all that separates angry and happy pose are the tears. Couldn't they have at least moved a pose a bit - repetitive that...

Well I like it, looks like sad little warthog guy. Except without the sad. The only thing that really bugs me is how insanely happy it looks, especially in the sad pose.
I like ranged though, looks like he doesn't wanna be fighting but he has to.

Hm. I like it for a Moehog, but then I don't like most Moehogs. It's a better grey than the Scorchio, but equally lazy. Although I like the hair and at least the Battledome poses look like it would be to much effort to do something. *g*
