When I saw this... WHOA. That's one hell of a Buzz. But... Tyrannian? No, this is some sort of Darigan creature, definitely.

Still, wonderfully detailed pet. Perhaps a little too detailed... but I guess they're trying to make up for the crappy Buzzes of the past.

That being said, it doesn't really look like a Neopet. Too evil and twisted looking, in my opinion. I'm used to the height of Neopet twistedness being Mutant, but this is a whole new level. I wouldn't be surprised if they remodeled this to be more cuddly and "kid-friendly" before release, unfortunately. :(

I love it. Because it's so evil looking.

I hate it. Because it's so freakin' cramped that you can't see half of what's going on without staring at it, with much head tilting involved.

Huh.

Ohmygoodness. I'm debating just caving in and buying a paintbrush now. These. Are so awesome. Like the bugs they used to sell in candy at the museums. <3 Ohman.

I agree with Ty -- way too many details. I have a feeling that if even this dude were twice the normal neopet size, the number of things crammed on to a single pet would still be terribly overwhelming.

I like the tail spikes and I love the wings. However, and I know this will be an unpopular opinion, I would rather see a simplified version that looked more Tyrannian. It is a shame that Mutant and Darigan buzz already exist so this can't be used for either, but I think people who have been waiting for a Tyrannian Buzz for story/character purposes will be unsatisfied with this.

AngharadTy wrote:Too much detail, not enough distinction. It all gets lost. It took me a long time staring at the beaten pose especially to figure out what's going on there. The 80x80 poses look ridiculous. Can't tell what it is at all.

Happy and sad are far too identical.

It has some nice ideas, but it doesn't look Tyrannian (as mentioned already), and it's too hard for me to tell what's what. I don't like it.
Agreed! Ick, I don't like this at all. Far too detailed, I have to stare at every pose for ages to work out what's happening o_o

And it's ugly :P But mainly the cramping up annoys me.

Um, er, 4/10.

Some poses remind of Lord Raptor/Zabel from Darkstalkers/Vampire Savior.
I'm posting as a link because the image is too big to fit in the forum:

I don't like it, if only because it isn't Tyrannian.

Seriously, the art itself isn't bad. I mean, cluttered, sure, but it's a full redraw, and those are rare lately. But I can't get past the fact that it doesn't look like what it's supposed to be.

Just because Darigan and Mutant and Robot are already taken, doesn't mean you can qualify this as Tyrannian.

Well it didn't get released with the Gnorbu today - so I'm betting it's going to be tweaked or something (if God loves us it'll show up instead of that darigan travesty we have now) instead of being released as is.

Because Shmoe is right - this is not a tyrannian anything.

It's fairly cool, it's cramped as hell, it's a complete redraw, and to quote him again, those are damned rare these days - but it sure as shit isn't tyrannian.

Of course they could release it later, independent of Tyrannian Victory Day - but that would be . . . odd.

Even odder than trying to call this tyrannian.

*stares at it some more*

Why couldn't this have been the Darigan Buzz instead of the lame one we have? This is darn cool but is really not tyrannian.

*come sout of lurking* Whoa...I just heard about this Buzz and it seems more suited for my battling Buzz, but...it IS pretty cluttered, but just so pretty. I like the colors a lot.

I seriously say that that should have been the real Darigan Buzz. It looks like the Darigan Buzz from the game. *checks her image file*

Yeah, should have been darigan. Tyranjian uzz should have been modeled from Tyragh.

Never seen a buzz with long legs. I think I'm blinded with my love of Buzz to see the flaws. =/
Ranged is defending more then doing a long range attack...wth. O_o

*kicks Tyran Gnorbu* :P

Flippin heck, I reeled when I saw that...

It sure is evil-looking! Not Tyrannian at all, but very very evil.

In the Angry pose it looks like it's squinting (doesn't it look angry enough already in the normal poses?!), and Sad and Beaten are a little too busy to be clear. It's nicely done, it's very different, and I can see this appealing to a lot of people - though not me particularly.
