Tyrannian Buzz

For discussion of new pet colours- speculation and discussion of colours in general should be placed in New Features or Misc.

I agree, I think that's one reason the Mutant Buzz never quite clicked with me (besides the outdated art). Looking at the two compared, you would never guess that the left one was supposedly the "Mutant" version. :/

If they do swap them, chances are Buzz Transmog's will explode in price. I've never known them to do that before though... and there are some Mutant Buzz owners who would NOT like the change.

More than likely they'll just decide to water down the uber-Tyrannian one and make it more generic--cover a normal Buzz with fur and give it tusks. *rolls eyes*

Ugh, fire the other artists, and have this one draw the rest. I wouldn't mind comic book styled Neopets.

Love the pink wings, gives it feminity, heh. Ugly tail..looks like they ran out of ideas on the tail.

They've done it with the Christmas and snow chias. The Christmas Chia used to look like a snowman without the snowball rolls. Then snow came out and Christmas was changed to an elf and snow became the old Christmas snowman. However since it didn't really look like snow, it was revamped to look slightly like snow.

It was a LONG-ass time in the making...we saw two or three types of Tyrannian buzz as shopkeepers and enemies when Tyrannia was first introduced. This blows them all out of the water, though, along with the mutant AND darigan buzzes.

My favorite thing is the incredibly evil teeth. Coupled with the color scheme, it looks like a Xenomorph.

Also love the veininess of the wings.

Gah...I love staring at this thing...It's so wonderfully ugly it's like a train wreck.
But in a really really good way.

Y'know the head kind of reminds me of on of those new Bionicle toys...um, Piraka? (i'm having a mental blank).
But yeah, wicked awesome.

Oh... duh, I was around for that, why didn't I remember it? I guess I never pay too much attention to Chias. -_-

Well, I guess it is possible then. I just hope they manage to release it somehow or another. I don't personnally want one, but for people like Scythe and Huggles I want them to release it.

My first reaction to this was just wow. In a kind of "goodness, that's a surprise" kind of way.

I agree that it doesn't really look like the usual tyrannian, which is generally a generic sort of prehistoric look. At first I thought looked more like robot, then more like mutant, then darigan.

I can't imagine what TNT would have done alternatively to this, that would have looked good- Halloween already has the hairy aspect to tyrannian, and it's not that great. Maybe it has been misnamed, but perhaps not to the detriment of what the tyrannian buzz could have been. In that sense, it's okay, a good addition to buzz colours but not something I'd go for myself.

But the fact that it doesn't fit in still bothers my sense of orderliness.

I hope they do swap this and the mutant around, because I already have a buzz transmog. in my SDB...

Even though it's not particularly mutanty either...

They should just make a whole new freakin' sweet paintbrush. Called the freakin' sweet brush.

*blinks and stares in awe* MUST HAVE!!! I haven't had a reaction to a pet like this since the Darigan Bori came out. I just love how freakishly cool it looks. This is not Tyrannian, this is what a mutant pet should look like, but I'm happy anyways, it's a fantastic addition to the Buzz family. I'll try Google or wikipedia to see if this looks like any ancient insects though. It could be modelled after one of them.

Heh, my first reaction was "What the fuck?" I don't like it, but I have to say it really caught me off guard. Now the bad news: Don't try to make an unevolved bug, it just doesn't work. The artwork is not bad at all, it just strikes me as odd. 4/10.

How so? They were ten times larger and meaner millions of years ago.

Although the key difference was that most primitive flying insects had six wings instead of four.

Only one known species alive today has six wings, and it was only discovered a couple of years ago, albeigt in massive droves in a ballpark of all places.

Heh, I don't know, it just doesn't strike me as Tyrannian in the least bit. But in the short time I've seen it, it has grown on me as creepy as it looks. 8.5/10. Very good artwork.

That buzz is gonna give me nightmares. A generation of neopians could be scarred for life based on how scary that neopet is. But um...in a good way...or however good emotional scarring can be. I agree with everyone else though, I think the darigany looking blue kindof throws off the image, maybe if it were in prehistoric type colours like dark brown or green it would look more tyrannian. But based simply on scary/intimidation factor I say like 9.5/10 because it looks like it could totally beat me up.
