I like the way it half copies the usul as well, a bit of a nod to the quigukis.

That's it- and it's wonderfully done. I hope the poses are good and the bow turns up somewhere.

The design is absolutely perfect, but I, too, wish the eyes were colored differently. If it is meant to be part of an intentional "Quiggles want to be Usuls" theme, I'm all for it, but I don't like the recycling. It works with the blumaroo-->tuskaninny-->gnorbu because that's just an overall "scuzziness", and done in fleshy tones. Being purple with three yellow eyes is too distinctive, and should be kept unique.

Still, taken on its own, it's a perfect mutant from that pose alone.

I didn't even think of the Usuki/Quiguiki thing... now I'm starting to think the resemblance to the Mutant Usul WAS intentional. It'd be funnier if there was a little black ribbon on it somewhere, but as it is, it's still a pretty neat idea.

While I like the Usuki/Quiguki thing -- not in general, but in the case of the mutant pets it amuses me -- and spotted it right away -- no, really! -- I also <i>love</i> the eyes on your version.

Anyway, they only thing I can think of when I look at this is Mutant Usul. o_O They probably could have at least given it different colored eyes, since it has the same purple scheme as well. Overall, I think it looks fairly nice for a mutant, but it doesn't quite float my boat personally. And that finger... so uselessly broken. D:! The poor thing!

Same here. In fact, I'm a little put off by the fact that it has the *exact* same color scheme as the usul, as well as the 3-eye thing going on. MM, you might be on to something with your version, I like it leagues better than this one.
