Split Eyrie

Post by Tom »

Colour number two on the... new colour platter.

The positives here are that it is an Eyrie, which I like, I think the redraw has been well done, and therefore, that gets my thumbs up. Also, it is well executed, with colours in the right places when comparing left and right poses, so no mistakes there.

The negative? It's split, which is usually dull, with no exception here. A mundane colour overall, but at least there are new colours.

:) All poses once again for those who desire them.

Somebody borked. But, I'm fairly suprised that they didnt just flip the images for those things.

My one complaint is the tail. It looks wrong. The purple and orange looked to be flipped from the body. Otherwise, this is just split and purple and orange should never go together.

I wish they did the kind thing and retire this colour for the lack of interest as they did with stone and glass.

Very boring.

Or instead of it being Orange and Purple you could buy more than one klind of split paint brush. You could get Blue/Yellow or something like that.

First reaction: This didn't exist already? Really?

Second reaction: Meh.

I like that they had enough attention to detail to keep which side is which colour consistent.

I could have sworn there was already a split eyrie, though.

The more eyries I see, the more I realise how cool they look since their revamp. But my accounts are bursting at the seams as it is, so I try and put it in the back of my mind.

This color reminds me that Eyrie day is coming up soon.

Split for Eyrie day? How lame is that?

Then again, we got a revamp last Eyrie day, so I suppose I shouldn't complain. :-)

From neolodge, possible 2nd colour? Looks better than just split which is always a boring colour...

Wow, somehow I completely forgot that Split existed.

...I wonder why.
It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.
