There are a few nice concepts about it (I like the stripey mane and tail, the spots, and the greens used) but the quality of the art is just... not up to the standard of the other images on the site, especially with the quality and creativity of many of the newer mutant pets.
The wings are lazily done, and the tail is... weird.
Honestly though, I didn't expect much from the Mutant Uni. I could do to be more disappointed.

Believe it or not, I grew up on 'muppet babies' without knowing that the actual muppet show - or muppet movies - ever existed. I just saw them now and then on Sesame Street and didn't understand why one show had live-action adult versions of seemingly random characters from Muppet Babies.Spivsy wrote:ah, but the muppets is a generalisation.Cyaneus wrote:WHAT? Muppets are GREAT, this is totally not up to the caliber of Muppets.Spivsy wrote:...The hell is that?!?!? It looks like something off the muppets for christs sake!!
And for the record, the muppets made a couple of screwed up shows themselves. Muppet babies anyone? That thing was like acid.
Gone off acid.

It's just... EEEEWWWW. And not in a good, mutanty way. I like the concept of the mane as tentacles but that's about all. It looks like something out of Disneys Hercules and I hated that drawing style with a passion!
Help me to make my Dreams come true?

Oh, yes, and something's wrong with the upraised leg on the Happy pose:

Can't exactly pinpoint it, though...

The leg is too long (were it straightened, it would be longer than the other legs) and it is coming out of the trunk at an odd angle.
I don't care for this Mutant Uni at all; actually it reminds me quite a bit of the Talmu April Fool's Pet:
Why does it have tentacles for a mane? Why? Where under heaven does that make sense?
I could understand tentacles for legs, the Jetsam pulls that off well.
But a mane of tentacles?
I agree with Enri - No cookie, TNT. No cookie.
