Pet achievements!

Post by Jazzy »

I've been waiting months to get back into my side account, and somehow today, my mail server started letting the password reset emails back through. No time like the present, so I finally got to fix up some of my pets!

Side note: if you reset your password, check out Jellyneo's password guide as I can confirm that some special characters break the password entry or reset form and the password won't work. This is why I can't get into my other side account, which has a different email address which is also blocking the password reset emails.

Secluding had been a royalboy zafara for ages, but they weren't grandfathered and I really didn't like the new version. Since I doubted they'd ever let pets switch back, I decided to finally paint her something else:

Pandalus was a Fountain Faerie quest (I'm sure it wasn't just for the avatar...) and had been sitting for ages with no petpet. I found a good colour match, which coincidentally happened to be a petpet I'd wanted when I started playing but couldn't afford.

(As a bonus, here's a 2004 gif I made of a Geb: Image)

Does Azrea turning 14 today count as an achievement?

Well, it only took 10 years, but I finally got better BD equipment after roiding up Rendivir on Faerie quest cookies. I'm so glad NC mall gave me a way around codestones, because I never had the patience/discipline to save money for training *and* BD weapons.

Before:
Level: 76
Hit Points: 180 / 180
Strength: ULTIMATE (151)
Defence: LEGENDARY (140)
Movement: LEGENDARY (126)
Intelligence: ULTIMATE GENIUS (609)

Now:
Level: 204
Hit Points: 506 / 506
Strength: ULTIMATE (552)
Defence: ULTIMATE (395)
Movement: ULTIMATE (271)
Intelligence: ULTIMATE GENIUS (797)

Plus my account is almost 16! The same age I opened it up in Keyboarding class!

Congratulations, those are some really impressive stats from questing! What kind of weapons did you buy?

I bought a SoS, Jhudoras Potion, and a Crisp Blue Tunic* before that faerie plot inflation for only 10.5 M. I still want to upgrade from Sophie's Magic Hat to the Faerie Tabard because Defence is underrated, but after unlocking "Lens Flare" and"Warlock's Rage", I can beat *anything* under 1100 HP.

*I have no idea why everyone hates this healer. It's overpriced, but it's like having Drain Life back without getting to level 300.
It feels so weird playing this game again. So many awesome real life updates, and I'm sitting here relaxing like it's 2004.

Ah, those seem pretty decent! I'm wondering about training level to get Warlock's Rage as it really does look useful, and also that healing ability. My level is far too low as it stands because of all my uneven lab training.

Jazzy, your lab rat? If he's already at level 50, level alone should take about 6-9 months at +2 per blessing. (Light faerie was rare.) Going up 125 levels was almost a year at at least 50 cookies for me because I wouldn't stop cancelling them thinking they weren't increased. Try just getting level 100, and see if you like the ability Burrow. If you have the patience to get to 200. Your pet might only need level 100 with those kind of stats.
