One of the staff emailed me, and she said that I either voluntarily gave out my ID and password or that I downloaded a cheating program.
Um...nooooo...NOT true. At least not VOLUNTARILY.
It sounds definitely like CG'ing (that one shop or more I possibly should have been more suspicious of?), or remotely like something amiss with the "Mobile invite" I was Neomailed (though it looked totally legit!), and I hate that it smacks of Neo blaming the victim.
Moreover, she said my account was used to scam other users, making this much worse, as I would never do something so stupid or mean, and my account being used for that is beyond words.
The prognosis doesn't look good. But at least I still have my side account which has the NC gallery and the pet I created in honor of a friend who had been murdered.
Even if I do get my account back, I'm not going to be able to go to shops, lookups, or petpages without a lot of thin-ice treading. If it happens again, she says for certain it will NOT be returned.
So, are there any other things I can waste my time on, for five minutes or as happily for 5 hours a day, leaving it if I must for a week, as I did on Neopets, if this ends up being a total no-go? Subeta, while nifty for art and friends, isn't as vast in its fun-factor. Is Spore really fun? I could get it on my phone, so it would be nice and portable. I don't know if it would cross-transfer to computer play though.
And there may be a chance I hand over the NC gallery to someone else.
