..what a horrible layout.

Wow. It'd be great for the help site, but for the main site it does indeed suck. I wasn't particularly fond of the icons not having text descriptions on the old site, but this is not the way to improve.

I did like the layout that was up for the site originally but for the last few... months? the site was not worth the time it took to load... and sometimes it never would. It came up really fast for me just now so I might start playing again. Actually, I am. Starting now.

Misticpets introduced another new revamped part of the site today: the userlookups.

Its not bad, but it's sort of confusing at first. On the main page is just your basic info and links to your shop. Then, along the top is tabs for things such as your profile (aka things you type, images, etc), pets, trophies, etc.

It's seems really really strange to me that a site that focuses on pets doesn't have them showed proudly on the main page of your profile. I have six pets I want to show off to the world, and I can't anymore! Cause honestly, how many people are going to go clicking on tabs just to see my pets? No one that's who.

I'd also like to have trophies on the main page, as well as the user added content. Right now we are all pretty much look like clones. What's the point of showing off your coding skills and writing up info about you if it isn't displayed conveniently? Cause again, who is going to go looking through tabs.

Sort of a neat idea, but I think it should still be ironed out some more. I'm far from alone in wanting pets and profile content to be shown on the main page so hopefully some changes will be implemented soon.

Do they have coders who are, y'know... human... and know what humans like...? They've been pushing some odd layout changes. o.O

The way they have it done also requires even more pointless extra clicks. If you do click on the pets tab and then onto a pet profile, clicking the back button only takes you to the main user stats tab. You'll have to click Pets again and then the next pet you want to see. I imagine it's javascript or some such and so it's not taking you to a new html page or section thingy. Probably think they're being fancy.

Yeah: their programmer just learned how to do that this week, and now it has to be ALL OVER THE SITE. I remember commenting about Cenopets (where there have been few developments recently) that it was rare and exciting for me to see a programmer do something totally obtuse, and then realize it was not user-friendly and fix it and that therefore they had my business. Misticpets, not so much.

Two new colors released today; Nightmare and Daydream. To tie in with some plot I admittedly haven't really been following. Maybe because no one on Mistica likes me so I have all of two pranks, which I think were both by Enigma from here lol.

Anyway, onto the colors.

Nightmare and Daydream Gourixs, the first two pets to become available.
Nightmare looks like it has potential, though I think it could have done without the red slashes as those belong to Terror. I like the face and tail-eye though.
Not sold on Daydream yet. The way the colors are done makes it look like old gradient filled or something. I'll have to wait to see what some of the other pets look like first.

Ffff..and they're both credit shop colours too... ..no thanks

Terror is cool, though the grey things on its back look smooshed in..:O But I still like it

Lol, even if they were to be sold normally, I cant afford it..or anything on the site for that matter.

Aww I actually like the Daydream - the wings on it, especially. It looks like stained glass, which I think is a really neat effect :3

I guess I'm seeing that I can be happy enough gawking at petsite art here if there's nothing else making me excited about the sites. My poor neglected Subeta pets....

What are pranks? Are they something I can do without too much investment of time? Why do you need them? We like you!

I've noticed that they devamped their layout back to the old one.. Too many complaints?

(I don't know how new the change is unfortunately, don't visit the site very often.)

Actually, it's a new theme called Rollback they introduced...about a month ago maybe? I think it might have been the default layout for some themed day or something and unless you changed it back it probably stuck. I love that they brought a similiar version of the old layout back, as I really did hate the new one.
