Morostide Time!

Post by Joey »

My favorite time of year is back! Though I still think Morostide is a silly name.

There's a new style of pumpkins floating around, I've carved two and ended up with a poo and a half happy half sad faced pumpkin. Jaxon's patch is also open, and I think it would be awesome if they added an alert to know when you can come back :D In my first run I got a bag of leaves with a pumpkin face. My gallery is happy again!

I am beside myself with glee. 8D My favorite holiday, and here I thought I was going to have to wait until tomorrow.

My first sponge capsule turned into a bat and my first raid of the pumpkin pat resulted in a bat patch, so I'm a very happy person indeed (and so is my gallery for the matter). But not my wishlist... XD

They have. At the bottom when you collect your item.

I got some cute thing. xD The sponge capsules seem like a weird idea to me though. I don't get them.

Wooo, goes to show how much attention I'm paying. Go subeta for being awesome then!

I'm not sure why the sponge capsules either, I've never seen them associated with Halloween before. But they seem cute anyway, I always thought those things were fun as a kid.

EDIT: Looks like Trick or Treating is back too. I got hexed, which makes me sad because my HA is sexy.

Also, some of the new pumpkins have mastered the art of anti-gravity: Image

Yay for Halloween! (I still refuse to call it Morostide) But I'm irked that I can't carve the plethora or plain pumpkins that I have in my vault for the achievements. Also, on my first T or T outing, I got hexed as well.

I refuse to call it moris-whatever myself. Such a stupid thing to do to my very favorite holiday.

Add me to those who totally doesn't understand whathell sponges have to do with Halloween, but since I can just ignore them whenever they pop up on my screen I'm good with it. ^^

And I'm thrilled to see that, for the most part, all of the things associated with this year's Halloween are new. The only old things I've seen so far are the hexes (which is fine with me -- slug!!) and, of course, the Snowflaiks, etc.

You knock on Kamil's Door and get:

Single Khaki Rubber Cyclopean Eye!
Thanks, Kamil! Just what I always wanted....*plots to egg you next time*

Add me to the list of 'wtf' about the sponges. But yeah, I can't keep the "holidays" straight if they're renamed something else. For some reason, Vensali gets under my skin the most. Just...UGH. No one is going to die if you call it by its real name. I still call Vensali coins Easter tickets, even though they've been redrawn. I try so hard to ignore the site event item descriptions when I browse my gallery. Doesn't have a nice ring to it... Does Thanksgiving have a new name too?

Finally!Halloween and Advent are my favorite subeta seasons hands down. Can't wait to see all the new ToT and Pumpkin patch items artists came up with this year! *pokes subetahq with a stick to hurry it up*

I got hexed on my first ToT too. I wonder whether they made it more frequent this year so people would be more tempted to get Protective Sage thing from the Millionaire Center?

I got hexed at my first house too, but my HA hasn't changed yet after about 3 minutes so far.

15 million for the protective sage? They have got to be kidding. So far, two times T or T'ing, and I've been hexed twice.

edit: Seems I'm not the only one upset about the price from the way the news comments are reading.

Yep, my second ToT - hexed again just as Klaatu. I dare say hexing is more frequent this year.

I really don't understand why so many are so uptight about being hexed- seeing the news comments complaining about the price of the sage was pretty amusing. :P All you're missing out on is free items that will deflate like crazy in about 5 days, so it really isn't a big deal at all. All I saw was a bunch of whining to the tune of "wahh, I want every new item with no effort whatseover!"

If anything, it would be boring if I was guaranteed a freebie every 20 minutes... I would give up after 3 days of that monotony.

(And yes, I've already been hexed several times as well, so it's not like I'm up to my armpits in new items either!)

I bought the sage, Tiki! I think I'll be more pissed if the price is decreased. I like the high price, actually!

There is a cheap and free way not to get hexed, so really, why so serious? :D

Does Thanksgiving have a new name too?
Fireside.

And, I never celebrated "Easter" or "Christmas". They have different names to me. So, that's probably why I am not bothered with Subeta changing named I never used.

I've been hexed 2 out of 3 times so far. I got hexed a good amount last year, though, and there are a bunch of new things to be turned into, so it's hard to tell how much the frequency was increased.

I would buy the sage for 500k or 1.5 million, but 15 million is absolutely ridiculous. I don't mind being hexed -- it's part of the holiday -- so I don't care that much that the anti-hex charm is out of my price range. I'm more irritated by the fact that the item is something that would be nice to have for other reasons, but with its 15 million price tag, it's completely useless. The price seems especially weird to me when compared to the zombie protection amulet.
