Morostide 2010 (Pumpkins and Trick-or-Treating!)
Re: Morostide 2010 (Pumpkins and Trick-or-Treating!)
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's been trick or treating at my profile already - I'd been without the internet for well over a month so catching up on all these goodies is a bit daunting, but having a few already has made it a little bit less stressful.
On that note, could my link please be added to the front post? Thanks!

Could my link please be added to the list? I've been trying to visit as many people on here as I can.

I'm done with my eggs and toilet paper achievements! (Special thanks to Cyro)
Are there any other NC-ers who still need eggs and TP so I can target you?
I made a list from this thread, but I'm not sure if it is still updated....

My bone gallery, too, Joey. The Jaxon bag and the makeup just released... geez. Dunno how I'm going to afford all that, it's crazy.
edit: Awww, now my task is rather easier! *snuggles Jaxon bag especially*

Re: Morostide 2010 (Pumpkins and Trick-or-Treating!)
I got up way too early today, had AAA tow my car, it's still not fixed, I need sleep. But I'm afraid that the Nightlady will be gone again soon--does anyone know how long these challengers will last? Or how the hell I could beat her? Mezzanine beat her last year, but I assume they pumped her up this year. I dunno, haven't tried to lose to her yet. Also, would it even be worth it if I can't manage five wins. (That is still the stupidest change, in my opinion. It's great that there are more prizes for opponents now, but the super prize dropping after five wins is dumb.)
Re: Morostide 2010 (Pumpkins and Trick-or-Treating!)
It sounds like the Nightlady is wiping the floor with 1k-stat pets. Ygg lasted two turns. Really disappointing, beating her was all I needed to get a complete set of Morostide achievements :c

*sigh* Same story as Cyro. I can't get more than two turns in, max, before she crit. hits Albia, and she's the last challenger I need to defeat for the meta achievement. Even if losing my defense wasn't an issue, I'm not sure I have the right weapons to work with (though I think I'd find the Maleria's Short Sword very useful with it's all-earth blocking if I actually got the chance to use it ).
Also, wasn't the costume contest supposed to end on Friday? Or was the date changed?

So they definitely did make her harder, huh? ...what exactly is the point of that?

To exclude as many users as possible? Seems to be the only reason I can find, looking at the admins posting on the battle boards. Not that they say it that way, it's more along the lines of "too many people were able to beat her last year". Which, of course, amounts to the same thing.AngharadTy wrote:So they definitely did make her harder, huh? ...what exactly is the point of that?

Marah, I still need them!
I haven't gotten much egging/TPing/trick or treating done this Morostide; if anyone needs any achievements, I'd be glad to help out!

I can't even beat the Torchbearer, so...yeah, not even gonna try the Nightlady.
*goes back to ToT catch-up*
I don't think I have the egg or TP achievements, so anyone that wants to, feel free to egg/TP the ever lovin' crap out of my profile =p

Re: Morostide 2010 (Pumpkins and Trick-or-Treating!)
Fuck that, if that's what they're saying. One of the reasons I was so excited about hitting 1k stats with Albia last week was because I thought it meant I could now beat opponents like Nightlady. But now I'm back the same position as last year. What's the point of going through training if they're just going to keep moving the goalposts?Kamil wrote:To exclude as many users as possible?
