Pet coding not showing lengty messages?

I posted this on the Subeta help boards. This is Jessi's custom coding she gave to me. The pet friends' messages get cut off in the first row, and I was wondering how to fix this. I'm in the process of emailing Jessi to pinpoint the problem with spacing. But if anyone else can help me, I'd appreciate it

I'm eating a cookie right now before starting my homework, so I don't really have much time to look over the code. But, it looks like each of the friends columns is set to a certain height. When there's only one pet in a column, it gets to take up all the length allotted. When there are two, they have to share. It looks like the second row gets first dibs on space, and covers up the first. Looks like something with the z-index or whatever they use to layer since the image is going underneath.

That is my 2 cents for anyone else looking to help.
