Inactive accounts cleared

Post by Wingsrising »

Apparently a bunch of inactive accounts have just been cleared, so if there were any names you wanted, now's the time to look. (The ones I like = still taken, sadly).

You know, assuming you can get Subeta to come up.

Wow, what a lovely surprise! That sucks though Wingsrising :(

Ah, at this point I have 12 pets, so I'd either have to abandon and remake and re-treasure-slot one, or spend the $$$ to rename it. So maybe it's just as well. :-)

Damn Subeta being down! There are three names in particular that I've been watching for a few months. One is Chinese so I don't suspect anyone else has been waiting to pounce on it, but the second is a very popular unisex name and the third, a very pretty weather-related thing. Doubt I'll get either of the latter. ):

There's one name I'd be interested in, but I don't even remember if the owner of the pet was inactive or not. :( I'd have to abandon one of my pets to grab it, though....

(And I second that damnation....)

Cool... wasn't actually looking at any names in particular but maybe this freed up some cool musical names for any future pets I might want.

ARG! I hope its just an error and pet names will be freed up shortly. I've been refreshing like mad for Subeta to come up so I could try and grab a few.

Hogeez. :| So apparently people lost some of their own pets that they had for a while, and the whole site was rolled back without refunding money spent on re-naming items and such, meaning those who paid to paint a pet or rename it lost both the update and their money. Big problem that will hopefully be fixed ASAP.

Hey, wait a minute. The name I was after is actually... free now.

...

I'm confused. And I feel horrible for everyone who lost a pet or wand to the rollback/revamp/whatever the heck that was.

ETA: Ah, wait, I see that search isn't actually working properly. >_<

Hmm the site seems to be back down, maybe they are fixing all the errors that occurred, as well as freeing up the pet names.

Grats on getting your name randomly Officer, bet that was a nice surprise :P

Edit: Never mind, site is back and the name I want still isn't free.

My pet Transient just went Poof. I'm glad to get her back, plus all her treasure chest items. I guess it had to do with the ID number. That number is 179, while all my other pets numbers are all 5 digits long.

Sorry about my newbie question, but what is the name of that item that allow us to change a pet's name?

And they should fix that error in the search engine, I got all excited when a name I like doesn't show up and it's actually taken. It's not good for my heart, I tell you.

The Enchanted Hypnosis Wand is what changes a pets name. Its available in the CS for $10.
I wish the search wasn't broken too, but at least its an easy way to see if a name you wanted will be freed once this is fixed.
