Subeta Page Formatting

Post by Bif »

I'm not sure if that title really makes sense, but anyway...

Since moving to subeta.ws the links on the left side of the page on subeta and the news etc have changed size and are no longer in line. I thought that this was just a subeta thing from moving. But I then realised that when I am not login in, the pages (or those I can see) are fine.

So I was wondering how to try and fix this problem or if anyone else was having it.

I actually had that the other day too. I fixed it by going to my preferences and changing the site layout I was currently using then just changed it back. I have a customcss, so I got rid of that first so you may have to do that I dunno.
That worked for me though, so hopefully it'll help you!

Change the layout? Is that to do with customcss or different as I don't have customcss.

http://www.subeta.ws/preferences.php?act=layout

You can change it from here, its under your Preferences. Subeta has some premade layouts that you can choose from.

I'm going to hijack this thread to ask a question that fits within the topic I think. Anyway are the mouseovers gone on .ws or is it just me? I got a new firewall and I'm wondering if it has something to do with it.

No problem Bif, glad it worked :)

I get the mouseovers on my comp. Maybe try disabling your Firewall to check to see if that really is the problem?

It was indeed the problem, it thought that they were pop-up ads lol.

I too am going to hijack this thread to ask a question - is there a problem with putting two blank profile sections on a profile and I never realized it before? I'm trying to edit my profile so my pets are split into two blank sections instead of one, and no matter how many times I move one of them under the other and hit 'update order', after I exit and go to look at my profile, it's moved one of the sections back to my first column - where I really don't want it >>

Edit- Nevermind, Lindsey explained the trouble people have moving two blank sections around. Lame. Will come up with plan B.

I'm using FF and I can't load the news page for some reason. It's really driving me nuts.
