Reading Drive shop open

Post by Saturn »

http://subeta.ws/games/book.php?act=shop

I'm mostly posting this because eee, I love how most of the items are literary references. <3 I didn't donate very many books though so I don't have a lot of points to spend. Which I really regret... just a few more books and I could've afforded that adorable Mockingbird. ;_;

I've got 300 points to spend, and I gotta say, Subeta definitely blows Neo away with the prize variety!! I also love how each book was worth a point.

I don't know what to get yet, there's so much amazing stuff. At the moment I'm just going through and squeeing over items based off books I love :)

I suppose I need a bone tattooing needle. Other than that, I would like to see what any of the wearables look like. Time to play the waiting game.

I don't know all the literary references. (That is--*if* they're all references.) I'm curious about some of them. What's the Analeptic Alzebo from?

The avatar previews on the forums are pretty cool.

I hated the entire book drive, though. A lot. Because the millions and millions I spent reading all but 35 books on the site to my pet ended up being a complete waste. Even if I wanted to finish reading the remaining books, the drive caused them to inflate to utterly impossible prices. Sucks for me.

There's a thread that has some previews on it in the forums, its being updated as they are found though I believe. The wands are all very nice.

damnit, now I wish I had actually participated in the book drive, because there's a bunch of things I want. I will have to wait to see how the prices end up.

I love these prizes. So much. ;_;

Oh, if I had only gotten twenty more points, I could get the pretty staff... I suppose I'll have to go looking at all the previews to see what I do want, then. *happy happy bookgeek*

D'awww, I wish I donated 5 more books, so I could have got the blonde locks AND a wand. I gave 125 in. I quite like the blue glowing wand. Hm. The ham costume brings back hilarious memories. I am quite impressed. :D

Haha, I just understood that the wands were Harry Potter references. /slow

Some of those previews are really, really baffling without an actual HA body under them.

I didn't even bother with the book drive. Oops.

I'm glad there arn't any shields. So I don't need anything. :D I like the orange and blue wands, though.

These prizes are awesome. Wow. I didn't have enough points for everything I wanted, but I picked up Come Home Whistle, Grendel, Mechanical Hound, Noctule, Smiley Tom, Mockingbird and Criminalsteaks (most of them because they fit well in various pet treasures). I may buy Takra and Blue Glowing Wand later if the prices are decent.

I love you, Subeta.

Oh man, I only have 80 points to spend and I have no idea what to spend them on. D:

ETA: OMG it's the ham costume from To Kill a Mockingbird! XD

Whoa, I donated more books than I thought. I have 42 points to spend... if only I did a few more books, so I could get the Key of Secrets. Dunno what it's in reference to, but it's pretty.

Is there a list of what each item is in reference to? I'd love to see that before making my decision. XD
