The Key of Secrets is in reference to The Secret Garden :)

It would be cool to see a list of what they all refer too, as I only know about half of em.
Wanna donate towards my drink gallery, the Golden Goblet.

Dammit. I WANT a blue wand and I don't have enough points for it. I wish I'd turned in more books now. :-(

I do have enough points to get a mockingbird though.

But I WANT a blue wand...

EDIT: Ack, I'd like a mockingbird but I want the secret key, too... and I can't get both.

That thread is great! I contributed a few. I can't believe I remembered "The Tale of Two Bad Mice" by Beatrix Potter... I haven't read those stories since I was a little kid.

I don't remember there even being a contest. I got zero points, but I don't want any of the prizes Yay?

That thread is awesome!

Here's a thread with previews of the wearables: http://subeta.ws/forums/?act=read&topic=346235

I must say, I'm loving the Blue Glowing Wand.

I am still hoping that some of the other prizes that haven't been made wearable will be made wearable really soon...like before I spend my points. I love the variety and the literary references in the prizes. This whole thing seems to have been really well thought out. The wands are all gorgeous and almost every single wearable is beautiful enough to be drool worthy.(the only ones I am not counting are still great art, but just not my style). Like Ty though, I would like to see some of the previews on actual HAs as the overlays leave me questioning if they would look right on the HA.(Enchanted Elegant Hand Mirror is a perfect example of that dilemma). I want all the books in there as well as several of the minions....sigh, my vault is already crying from the impending depletion.

Seerow linked to that thread already, Mayhem. ^_~

SubetaHQ is killing me by not having updated yet. *laughs* I have points burning a hole in my pocket!

I didn't bother since I'm poor on Subeta, but the ham costume gave me a big grin since To Kill a Mocking Bird is one of my favorite books.

I'm surprised that, being a book nerd and all, I'm not that excited by the prizes. That's actually a really good thing, since I don't have a single point. I do want the electric sheep, and it would be fun to have one of the books for my avatar, but that's about it. (Although Dill makes me giggle, and the key is pretty.)

I need the Mockingbird for my gallery and if the price of the Blue Glowing Wand drops then I may pick it up but there's nothing else that instantly jumps out at me (though the Come Home Whistle is gorgeous on the HA). I didn't bother joining in on the actual Drive so I've got no points and I'm regretting that slightly now, I like point spending.

So I'm not the only one who missed this.
Too bad because I really want the Key of Secrets.

Eheh, I've set my sights on the blonde locks and blue wand, now, but am going to have to buy a cheaper prize, one of the 50-pointers I imagine, or the Come Back Whistle. I'll wait a bit and see how the prices are.

What does everyone think about those who donated all the books? I think they should receive something a little extra.

SubetaHQ has the item previews now. :) They aren't in the newly wearable section yet, but you can search them to see the previews.

... Darn, now I think I need more of these than my points can buy.
