Now they're off to the right, in the blue-grey background there. That's ... better, but still really irritating, because it makes Subeta very slightly wider than my browser window is by default (about half the size of my screen).

I dunno how to make an event appear so I have no way to judge the change. But I also keep my browser half the width of my screen (so, ~800-900 px wide), and if anything causes me to scroll, I will be pissed.

I don't have an event right now, but the one I did have didn't create scrolling, it was just slightly cut off on the right. Which is roughly as annoying in different ways. This probably tells you nothing, though, because I use Opera.

Sometimes I wish Keith would just really, really utilize the phrase, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Well at least they aren't the massive rectangle at the top of the page anymore. Now they are a massive box over on the right X_x

Why does every thing recent have to have huge ass borders around it and be in a box? The new drop down menus and now these? It just makes everything look really cluttered.
The old simple text alerts were nice since they didn't take up much room or have tacky borders.

Oof. I don't mean to be the person that comes in here to say yay to all changes, but I honestly really like this. I hated it when I logged in to a lot of events and had to deal with them immediately because they stretched the screen. I also really, really like the shop changes! I'm so glad I don't have to sift through slow-loading pages to find items I've just placed in my gallery; now I can easily search for the ones that don't have a category yet. I went to organize my gallery right away when I saw this had been changed.

Ooh, neat, I like the new shop filters a lot.

Now if only they'll do this for the vault, except with preset categories. I think Keith said no to this one though, because they're too lazy to assign categories to nearly 20,000 items. :C

Say, that is an awesome new feature, Sayle! I quite like organizing my gallery now.

Mayhem, I'd love that too. But maybe it would be easier for us to make our own categories, and sort things ourselves? I'd love to have a category just for friend's birthday presents.
My computer is connected to the internet and the internet contains everything in the whole wide world ever. I don't know about you but I sometimes find everything in the whole wide world ever a bit distracting.

I'd rather have preset categories. There's just no way I'm going to go through eight pages and sort them and then keep on top of something like that.

I think some customizable categories on top of the regular ones would be nice.

So now I have one event (trivia) but the only option I can see is "remove all"... is there no way to specifically tell it to delete that one event? I have missed events because of using the "remove all" function in the past. I hate the "remove all" function for that reason. I never want to use it. Not that I get comments and sales and suchlike so very very often, but I don't want even the slight chance that I'll miss out on something that happened between me loading the page and me clicking "remove all."

I don't like the event that I can currently see--it's a lot of unnecessary blue boxes that take up the whole top white area of the screen. And it's run-in on top of the content that's already there (maybe even slightly overlaps by a pixel). But apparently this has changed a lot today? Maybe it'll change more. I rather hope. It's an eyesore. Hopefully I could at least css it a bit.

Ridiculously small buttons! I actually don't really mind the new event system... but from reading the previous posts I assume it was fucked up for a bit? Seems to be fine, now. Imo, anyways.

The shops! Yay! This will make categorizing everything SO much easier! ^_^

That's a button?! I thought I had something on my screen. ;P

Seriously, though, I already cleared it with the remove all function, and didn't see any other buttons. It also didn't look like yours. (Not just the colors; other minor differences, like the placement of the "remove all" button.) Maybe something changed again. I dunno. I'm tempted to autoprice my shop just to see what happens.

edit: Oh! It completely fails to work in Chrome! Coooooool. That would explain it. Yeahhhh. (It's like a huger form of the old events; it's on top of the screen where old events were, but taking up more space, running into my content, and lacking those teeeeeeny buttons.)

Remember when I said the right edge of the new events were cut off for me at my usual browser size?

You know the tiny button that removes a single event? On the right?

Yeah, this is going where you think it's going.

Whoot, small silver lining! The new (?) coder put up the css to get them back on top. They still have that ugly blue border, but at least they aren't an eyesore over on the right side of the screen.

Put this in style tags:

Code: Select all

#events-container{
top: auto;
left: auto;
position: static;
width: 70%;
border: none;
margin: 0 auto 16px auto;
}
#events-wrapper {
max-height: none;
}
You can change the width percent to make it larger or smaller. Original code called for 90%, but I think I like it better at 70%.
