Free items

Post by Tom »

I just got an email from Subeta, and it appears there are some more free goodies.

Hopefully this link works: http://www.subeta.ws/contests/redeem.php?key=newspost22

I'm assuming that they're giving out a rare item, alongside three fixed, exclusive gifts, the Tired Plain Satchel, SAI Apprentice Headset and Reva. I like the look of the bag, but the Reva isn't doing much for me sadly. Looks like it's just a tail and a head. I also got a Bloodred Montre Plushie, which is lovely.

The satchel and headset appear to be wearable.

The Sheeta in the newsletter is cute, too.

Bah I didn't get a email. Purdue probably thought it was spam and automatically filtered it. Silly campus email!
The link didn't work either, said it was invalid. Hopefully Keith will put it in the news like last time so I can get some items.

And cause now I'm curious, mind posting a picture of the Sheeta in the newslater Tom :P

I haven't gotten an e-mail. It's not in my inbox, nor is it in my spam, nor is it in my trash, so...

Keith mentioned in the forums that the emails are not finished going out yet. If I am remembering correctly, he also said that he would make a news post once they were finished going out.

I think it just takes time. I hadn't gotten mine when I read this topic first but I have mine now.

I got a Modified Book of Records as my rare item.

There's a somewhat odd looking Kumos, and the Sheeta. :)

There's also an Angelic Hikei.

Didn't they learn how much this doesn't work last time? *sighs* I really have to switch away from yahoo--it's gotten really bad within the last few months. A lot like aol, actually. What's the point of having a spam folder if you also decide to not let mail through at all? (And the number of times bills have ended up in my spam folder...!) I just don't want to go everywhere and change my email address. Gah.

What's the email it's arriving from? Maybe if I add it to my address book, it'll magically arrive....

Bah, couldn't they send the email as well as put a link in the news for people? That way they can test emails (they can have a poll asking whether or not you got the email or something) and people can still get their free stuff without having to wait ~24 hours to get their stuff while others can get it now.

Ohh well, at least they are trying to fix the email system? Though I can't really see how it could be that messed up, isn't sending emails a pretty basic function of most sites? *Clueless...and impatient*.

Thanks for posting the pictures Tom! They are really cute :)

Oh fuck it, I swapped my email addy for a gmail account I have. Waiting another day is lame.

Edit: Nevermind, it finally came. My "rare" item was a Sword of Two Sides... aw man. :c
