Halloween battle opponents
The easiest enemies today are the Deathly Harbingers. There's a current wave of them up--well, it might be the last wave, too, even though it's only the second. They're pretty easy. You get a great cape for beating them, as mentioned in the HA thread here; the Morostide Cape of Grim Tidings.
Just released now are Torchbearers, 2500 of them. I killed a few and you get a very very neat Plaiswifar for beating it the first time. They're labeled Hard in the coliseum. But Parepin beat it handily using Deschain's weapons--he has stats at 211. I dunno if my Wyr would do as well (stats in 120s--I stopped training him at level 50), but I guess it's worth a shot. (Except that a couple people thought it'd be awesome to hoard/raise the price of glaciating pylonics--damn.)
I'm sure there will at least be a Big Bad... so I figured I'd make this topic to keep tabs on things. =)

Awesome. I was annoyed that I missed out on the cape first time around.

Me, too. Especially because I was here, but not here. And I needed one for my Ossuary. (It does have the stuff-between-the-legs problem on HAs, which is always a pity, but at least you can put a bottom over it as long as you put a shirt under it.)

Double-posting to bump, although I'm not sure anyone other than me cares. ;) But now there are Carrion Lords, and if you win, you get an Aura of Mortal Terror, which is wearable and gives you really alarmed-looking eyes. But it beat Mezz really easily. And I'm out of glaciating pylonics. Boo.

I tried him and he cleaned my clock, even with pulling my legendaries out of treasure. Luckily I don't want frightened eyes.
Re: Halloween battle opponents
Damnit I missed the first opponent I wish there were a limit so people couldnt beat like 300 of them XD! Beat the next two though :>

Re: Halloween battle opponents
The cape is really cool, but I unfortunately had to work all day and then take the small people trick or treating...so I missed my chance at winning it. Luckily, I do not really want/need any of the other prizes.
Re: Halloween battle opponents
I tried with Casshan, but all my weapons immediately turned into a single slots spork after my first attack. Neat.

Re: Halloween battle opponents
Isn't that, like... some really old glitch that I haven't seen in aaages and thought they fixed?
Re: Halloween battle opponents
Dunno. I haven't battled in ages. The weapons I used were old, if that makes a difference. I didn't expect to win, but I expected a spork even less.

I am so going to have to use that in my signature on Subeta just for the fact that it made me laugh out loud and spit water at my computer screen.
