The adjustment that was made to the free shop is pure awesome. I've actually managed to get something with minimal stress. Hopefully I'll luck into some of the Melody items I missed, but even if I don't, it's still much better. I don't feel nearly as left out now.

I've figured out a system that works with my slow computer and connection, and out of 9 restocks, I've gotten 8 items. Too bad 4 of those were Melody items, and one was an advent item/trivia prize from last year. But hey, free stuff. If anyone with a slow computer wants to know my system, just PM me and I'll share it with you. (sorry if this sounds rude, but if everyone knows this system, it quits working for me.)

I'm still having epic trouble snagging anything on this computer, but i got a couple of melody items. The only way I tend to get anything is when there are two stocks right after each other. best item so far = citrus charms sunglasses, which i don't really want, so someone can have them if they'd like them.

I'm only getting Melody items and cheapish "rare" items, but it's still so much better than it was before.

I like the new system. It does make everything fair and reasonable, and fun too! I always get excited to get to the acceptance page and see what I got, though I must confess that all I seem to be getting lately is Melody items from this year, but I don't mind. ^^

Except the plushies from this year are evading me... <.< I'd love to get one and put it in my collection.

I still have only managed to get 2 things. Granted I haven't been trying hard, but the whole routine of :click: "Sold out!" :click: "Sold out!" :click: "Sold out!" :all gone: is just too frustrating.

I'm not finding this at all fun. My computer is only 3 years old and I'm still not getting anything. (Not just not anything good, but not anything at all.)

I do think that the boxes are a massive, huge, incredible improvement. I actually got something! (Nothing good, but hey, I got it.) But it's still frustrating. I don't even have to let the "you lose!" page load all the way, because the instant I click, the title of the webpage changes to "sold out" and I know I can already hit back. Woo. It's impressive how quickly it goes from "my screen is full of presents!" to "wow. nothing, eh?"
