No, you're not. I'm actually a little miffed that the pirates are seemingly the good guys.

Eh, I'm not too bothered by the pirates being good guys, since it's been their stance from the very beginning.

Count me as another who wants this thing over with. It's been over a month.

Me too. :( It was fun when it started, but now that we're only getting updates every 1.5 weeks, I just kinda want it to go away so that I don't have to keep checking for it.

But look at the little adorable wyllop! He's so cute.

My hope is that, one of these days, Subeta will learn the fine art of pacing. They've had numerous events and holidays now to learn of this mysterious skill but so far don't seem to quite grasp the concept. Maybe the next event will show some improvement!

I hope so too, Seerow. I'm tired of getting Uncharted Map pieces and sea creatures.
My computer is connected to the internet and the internet contains everything in the whole wide world ever. I don't know about you but I sometimes find everything in the whole wide world ever a bit distracting.

Sooo glad I'm not the only one!

Ugh, map pieces. I don't know how much I paid for my map, but it sure was a hell of lot more than (::checks::) 70k! I'm just sticking the pieces in my vault, 'cause the prices will go back someday, right? Right?

There's a difference between "reasonably priced" and "way too cheap," Goldenchaos. Throughout this plot I've found 34 Uncharted Land Map Pieces, and average about one a day. They were also released into the Crystal Shop, and are still there because it's cheaper to buy them from users or find them on your own. Everyone who wants to go to Omen Islands has already gotten the map. It's not fun anymore, it's too easy.

Uncharted Land Map Piece #1 - 3500
Uncharted Land Map Piece #2 - 5000
Uncharted Land Map Piece #3 - 5000
Uncharted Land Map Piece #4 - 800
Uncharted Land Map Piece #5 - 4800
Uncharted Land Map Piece #6 - 1600
Uncharted Land Map Piece #7 - 3900
Uncharted Land Map Piece #8 - 400
Uncharted Land Map Piece #9 - 1000

They're not "reasonably priced" - they're freaking useless.

Wow, I posted a message over on the forums about how boring things have gotten plot-wise, and in over 40 posts, no one flamed me telling me to shut up and be glad that there was even a plot at all.

I'm happy in the sense that I love macabre in my fiction and this is right up my alley.

I was more excited about Emma kicking ass in this update.

Don't worry Helios, I'm happy too and hope she doesn't come back. She's always creeped me out, with her creepy smile and creepy visor! Unlike Neo, I can see Subeta actually killing a plot character, but I doubt they'd kill off an established NPC though. At least it's not Emma!
They should have tied the monster releases with these chapters though. Or at least released more of them.

I really hope the story doesn't have a lame ending though and have Merana turn out to be a nice person.

The story's finished.

So, um, it seems to be implied that the pirates now have their own area, which requires a map to get to.... Not a mere implication.

ETA: I am loving the new port. It even has its own lodge... though it's much more expensive than the basic package at the Subeta Resort. And don't try the new quest for a while; it seems to ask for port-exclusive food items, which are of course ridiculously expensive right now.

Omen Island plot has finally decided to wrap itself up, so yay to that!

Turns out Amy really did die and I just can't really feel much sympathy for her, but the story was still well written. I think I might have cared more about her if a) she wasn't creepy and b) I actually knew more about her character. But anyway, it was a decent end to the plot and as always the images were gorgeous. And it left some good story arcs of sorts for next year :D Shinwa seems like she'll have more of a roll if the story is continued so that's always a good thing.

Sarah has taken the place of Amy, and she's much much prettier.

Edit:
OMG AN ACTUAL MAP!!! Hopefully this means other places will be getting maps soon yes?
It's gorgeous. I do wish there was signs for the various locations though, they are a bit hard to spot at first.
There's a new store with a Anyu shopkeeper barmaid who is rather epic. Also a new quest by a guy named Drunk Carl. Carl seems to only be asking for pirate food, so I probably won't be doing his quests for awhile though.

Edit: And a new type of daily thingy? Click on the ship and Angrybeard asks you to help him out by finding rats. I got a pretty cupcake for mine, so Lindsay is happy.
