Despite doing nothing much on the site these days beyond training my pets and refreshing Blackheart Hollow from time to time I've restocked a Shinigami and a Blackheart Blade in the last day or so. Go me?

Don't know what I want to do with the Shini, but I'm selling the blade, as I already have two. Yay for cash.

I've achieved something in that I've finally made up all of the wishlists for all of my pets, both current and upcoming, after months of perusing each page of the item database. I was also able to make a completely workable Custom CSS layout.

I have woe, though, because I for the love of me can't figure out how to change the font, color, etc. of things in the forums, despite staring at the page sources.

I lack patience and what I originally had planned for Alpha didn't really work out, so behold!


Quite a bit of money later and Alpha is a Steamwork Aeanoid. I ended up using the story I had mentioned in the Aeanoid thread. He needs an overlay of him in a costume though! And a minion, but I have no idea what to get for a minion since I'm not a huge fan of any of the robotic ones.

After waffling for about a year, I finally turned Theremin into a Spectrum Paralix.

I've been waiting for the perfect spectrum pet to come along that would fit the personality I had in mind for him (cocky rock-star type), and the paralix really fit that, even though it's really not my favorite spectrum pet. I'm happy with the decision, now to work on getting him more treasure!

It's my birthday today, so I decided to treat myself on Subeta. First, I bought up all the cheap-ish minions on my wishlist, then bought a 100 CSC card, redeemed it, plus another in my vault and 60 leftover credits from one of the free offers and bought a July 2010 collection and got a Golden Chirrup from it. Next, one Priggle Elixir plus a Spectrum Potion from my vault equals:

Then I sat, thought for a bit, purchased 2000 credits using my own money (only second tiem ever doing that...first was begining of the week for a 1 Month GA) and:

I decided to get a new pet. I started randomly searching names of characters from Les Miserables. Eponine was taken of course but Ponine wasn't so I created it I love the new kerubis so thats what she became. Arid because I think the infatuated pet rock is too cute and somehow fits. I had massive debates over what her treasures would be. Les Miz themed things weren't working for me so I went with a collection of broken heart items.

Not really an achievement, but today is my 5-year anniversary on Subeata - yay. I just locked the new loyalty box with my other 3.

I've really only been playing for a little over 4 years though as the site was so slow when I first joined that I couldn't stand to be on it for long, and quickly grew tired of it until I visited again some time later. I regret not starting training when I first joined.

I just love everything about this pet. The markings around the eyes and the big dark grey mane are my favorite parts though.

I bought the CSC for the pet slot and the potion with sp, but someone somewhere had to spend real cash for them, so it probably works out the same for the site. Which is good, because I'd prefer it not go tits up anytime soon. Even if I won't give them my real cash, I'm perfectly happy to let someone else do so. =D

It does feel weird to have a pet with such low stats and almost no treasure spots, but I'm working on both just as fast as the site will let me. So, yay!

Congrats Kamil! I'm seriously considering making Tropic Blacklight vs. Spectrum. It will depend on just what his overlay ends up looking like, since it really will be a mixture of the two.

And it's nice to see anyone actually enjoying the color, vs. being up in arms about it. The feedback thread on Subeta has a full 9 pages of probably 85% complaining. :C Seriously, anything they throw in the cash shop at this point is fine by me, I've invested waaaay too many hours over the last 5 years to see the site go down now.

Almost forgot to ask/brag, anyone snag some good names during the clearing?

I got Damon, impulsively, but I'm swaying like a pendulum over what to do with him. I've been planning a tribal character for a few months (and most of the planned items are already in his TC), but I'm really disinterested in male characters lately. It used to be the other way around, but now I seem to favor females for any and every role. I also don't know what species/colour to make him. My brain is blocked there.

The concept I just came up with is that he could be a wind elemental priest/chief who escorts animals to the afterlife. Maybe all his minions are spirits... I already have dark, ice, water, and fire elemental pets, so I guess I'll make a theme out of it.

And a big, solid woe: it appears the frozen account housing a name I had my heart set on now has 10 months til clearing. Just before the name clearing it said 3 months. I could file a ticket but I doubt anyone will change it back for my sake. The other names I want have a while to go as well. More patience.
