Haha, that cat really does look grumpy! Cute. And Strider is a great name for a greyhound.
Re: Pet Pics! [very image heavy!]
Well, my computer is refusing to upload new images right now so I will post the only image I have uploaded via my crappy cell phone photography. Hee. This was Sunny's first day home.
We named him Sunny because he was our sunshine when we lost our cutie Munchies in an accident. , Munchies will always have a special place in my heart but, Sunny has his own place as well. He's a little lover.
Sunny is a Maltese and just turned 1 last month. They grow so fast.

Here are some pictures of my hamster, Miniroll =D I named her after Cadbury's Minirolls as she is chocolatey brown and has a white patch on her stomach, so she kinda looks like one. xD I usually call her Mini for short, but she has a few weird nicknames, including My Chocolatey Little Hamster, Miniature Roll and Roll of Miniature. =P
These are some pictures of her when she was a baby:
And here are some more recent piccies of her:
This picture sums up her personality perfectly:

Little rodents are so adorable. Sometimes I miss having gerbils, but then I remember how they scratched and scratched at their cage while I was trying to sleep, and I don't miss them so much anymore!
I haven't spammed this thread in a little while, so here, a pic of Crystal and Patch:
And Crystal demonstrating "touch" (which she does now every time she wants something):
Finally, Crystal and Scout after last month's ice storm:

Tell me about it! At night I have to creep into my room and be totally silent, because if I wake up my gerbils they'll just scratch in the corners of their cage all night :KCranberry wrote:Little rodents are so adorable. Are gerbils the only rodent that do that? Because i want to get some rats, but not if they keep me up all night xP

My hamster does the scritchity scratchity thing, but I've gotten used to it. It's really something you can expect from something nocturnal.

Re: Pet Pics! [very image heavy!]
My rats are awake and active in mid-afternoon and very very early morning. I have heard from multiple sources that rats will generally maintain roughly the same hours you do, but I think my own hours are so bizarre and wide-ranging that my rats end up confused about my schedule. ;P They definitely make noise, but it's generally just drinking and eating (water bottle goes click, dry pasta goes... um... gnaw?), and sometimes playfighting (squeak). But that's why they live in the living room and I (usually) sleep in my bedroom. Hee.

My hamster only does that sratchy thing in the corner if she has an itch. xP She gnaws her cage bars a lot, which I'm used to, but now she's taken to gnawing on her water bottle and pushing it so it falls off her cage. ._.

The light was streaming through a stained glass window at my grandparents' house. I thought it looked neat.

Ooo, I like the stained glass window picture.
Having just posted huge numbers of pictures of my cats to my LJ, I'll just direct anyone who wants to look to the appropriate journal entries:
Easter egg treat dispensers (with video)
The drawer under the stove (plus misc. pics)
The epic battle for the shelf above the computer

Re: Pet Pics! [very image heavy!]
Wingsrising, your cats are just too cute The shelf on in particular I got a kick out of, as my cats do the same thing on the top of our kitchen wall. The wall doesn't go all the way to the ceiling so my cats like to climb up there via the counters-to-fridge-to-cabinets route then dive-bomb onto the couch below.
I think I'll have to make some toy eggs now, and they should be on sale. That's a great way to give the cats some exercise and to work for the food!

Re: Pet Pics! [very image heavy!]
That was my question...did your cats need to work out for their food, was that what spawned the ingenious idea of those treat eggs?
It is very amusing to watch.
Now I wish I had a cat or two. XD

I've neglected to post pictures of the demon beast Kelly. Mainly because she's a demon beast pain in the ass. But cute as a freaking button.
Younger pics:
Kelly together with Jessie, being very interested in my Dad because he has pizza.
Blurry cell phone pic, showing her crazy ears.
