It's Zombie Day, v2!
Halloween is zombie day, sure, but so is two days later, because today's my birthday. I'm 27 today, which is kind of weird to me, but it's divisible by 9, which is my favorite number... so overall, yay.
Doesn't someone else here have a birthday today? All Soul's Day rocks. Also, it's the last of Dia de los Muertos--I haven't seen that celebrated since I came to Nebraska, but it was present in Los Angeles, and I miss it. I will eat an imaginary sugar skull before bed.

Happy years-since-you-were-born anniversary! I'll probably think of something more coherent in a few hours, but until then have some cake. It's good.

Happy Ty Day! May there be lots and lots of fine beverages, chocolate cake and skull shaped cookies!
You get brownie points for having birthday positioned on a such a cool day; the only remotely interesting thing that happened on my date is France and UK declaring war on Germany, thus officially starting WWII. Oh, yes, mustn't forget that eBay was founded on that same date too ;)

*pounces* Happy Birthday, Ty! *snugs* If we could come visit today, I would. Then I would take you out for tasty things to eat and make YOU pancakes at 2 AM instead this time! Either way, I hope you have a lovely day!

Happy Brithday Ty!
I remember Dia de los Muertos, we talked about it in class, like 3 years ago. It sounded fun.

Tried-and failed- to think of something original to say. So I'll just echo what everybody else said:
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday! May the undead rise and eat your flesh! Or would that be bad? Have a good one anyway!
Re: It's Zombie Day, v2!
I think the undead are to rise and bring her flesh to eat. I think. *birthday huggles* I was looking up recipes for sugar skulls, and the only ones I could seem to find made them sound edible in the same way, I dunno, paste is edible. Which leads me to wonder just what the ones I ate made with almond paste are called. They were somewhat soft, and almost unbearably sweet.

That would be marzipan. Fondant might also make acceptable sugar skulls; fondant on its own is not edible so much as 'edible', but it's not terribly vile either. I think if I were making them I'd just get a skull mold and make jellies, cover them with sugar and decorate them.Huggles wrote:I think the undead are to rise and bring her flesh to eat. A little late, but I hope you had a happy birthday! Also, 9 is my favorite number too! We're like twins or something.
