The Fabulous Moolah!
1923 - 2007

The Fabulous Moolah held the Women's Championship for 28 years,
a record-setting reign that will never be matched.
She was well known as being the first NWA and WWF Women's Champion.

An amazing woman, Wrestling still at the age of 84 in WWE (WWF) 2007, a great woman she holds the never to be beaten record of Womens Championship and is a Young Mother of only 14 years old when she gave birth!

The youngest of thirteen children, Moolah had twelve older brothers. Her mother died of cancer when Moolah was young and she nearly had a nervous breakdown because she and her mother were very close. Her father took her to wrestling events to get Moolah interested in something. She had one biological child, a daughter named Mary. Moolah was 14 years old when she gave birth. The father was Moolah's first husband, Walter Carroll. Mary wrestled briefly in the late 60s and early 70s as Darling Pat Sherry. Moolah also had six grandchildren.

An animated version of Moolah was also included on a CBS Saturday morning cartoon during this lucrative time, titled Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling. A Fabulous Moolah action figure was released in 2006 by Jakks Pacific as part of their Classic Superstars series.
WWE is saddened by the passing of Lillian Ellison, who was known to sports-entertainment fans as Hall of Famer Fabulous Moolah. She passed away last night in Columbia, S.C, she apparently died of Old Age.

Please put Moolah in your thoughts, though you may not even know/heard of Wresling (WWE/WWF) she was a great wrestler, a great mother and a good friend to many! She also trained a lot of the wrestlers around today.

She has gone on to have a Classic Superstars wrestling figure released some time ago, she was great and will be greatly missed.

It's always sad to see a Wrestler pass away, D: I collect figures of them and watched wrestling and it's just sad to see them die.
