It's so hard to find good desktops in 1200x800 size that don't come out all squished and gross. ¬_¬ It's nice having a relatively clean desktop for once though - I've only had this computer for a couple of months and have managed to go that long without putting a bunch of useless crap on it
I have this as my wallpaper on my old compy that I haven't touched since I got this one. I still really like it, maybe I'll use it again eventually... (that entire site is amazing, btw. check it out )
There are a bunch of official, huge NIN backgrounds, and I switch between them sometimes. Derek has one, too! We match! Awww. Hee, I have four game icons on my desktop.
Hmm... I think now that I'm ready to post this, I'll change my background. Heh.
I'm sure none of you saw that coming. I'd change it, but it goes so well with the posters on the wall behind my computer. <3 And Leviathan are luff.
And my laptop has Bleach on it. I'd get the actual desktop, but... that would take more work than it should. ...Like downloading an art program. Which would make my laptop a'splode.

Mine is from interfacelift.com, a site my brother is madly in love with. I have no idea where it was taken, but it's pretty. I'm rotating through them about once a month right now.
Icons I haven't gotten around to organizing yet are on the left, those I have are on the right (because that's where a Mac puts them and I am stubbornly loyal to my roots). A file called "secret santa" is among the unorganized, so I guess I haven't been doing too well.
mine is the same image that's on my subeta profile because i just like it that much (and am too lazy to change). i've had it at least since this issue of the buffy comic came out, and had my previous desktop for years before i changed it to this one.
the image doesn't cover the full desktop because the icons hang out in the left and right black parts (but i hid them for the screenshot).
there's mine, it's kind of old so i need to switch it... it's a picture i took a little while ago. and then all the scattered images on my desktop are stuff i took at school and had to e-mail here... it's usually not this cluttered, hee.
My desktop is currently a wallpaper made by koffiekitten on deviantart. It's Beverley Knight, an English soul singer, she's one of my favourite singers. I think it's quite pretty, but a bit weird that she appears to be sitting next to herself, it's the only one I could find though and anything I could make would look terrible in comparison.

It's usually a picture of my boyfriend or our travels, but it's still hockey season, so my favorite boys of winter take over. Plus the pictures from the Winter Classic game were just so damn awesome.
