...To the tune of It's My Party, get it? Wow, yes, I'm totally lame.

I was looking through my birthday thread from last year and Kantark left me a lovely message on it reminding me that next year I'd be a quarter of a century old. Well, now it's a year later and here I am, at a quarter of a century old ;_;

I know I'm nowhere near the oldest member on the forum, but 25 feels so OLD XD Ty was the first person I spoke to on my birthday (...cause we were talking last night and suddenly it was after midnight >>) and she told me 25 is good, not bad! So I'm trying to think positive about my old age xD

Last year I got to post awesome roller coaster pictures, but there will be none of that this year because my car is in the shop getting its new transmission (urk). So for my birthday I get... well... a new transmission! And maybe some other cool stuff.

...That's all, really. I'll update later after my birthday celebrations have taken place. Now I must go grab my cane and mosey on off. DAMN KIDS, STAY OFF MY LAWN.

Well I return with a birthday update! ;__; Lindsey picked me up from work and drove me home where I found out I had no birthday cards in the mail ;-; Boo. But Lindsey made me a sign with markers and newspaper (we had no crepe paper xD) wishing me a happy birthday, then told me to go check in the kitchen, where there was a lovely card and a dozen pink roses :D

I got all excited and then asked her where she got the money from of course, cause I... was curious, and we are broke. And her mom sent her money to make sure she could take me out to dinner ;_;

So now I get to have a nice birthday dinner and have lots of lovely flowers to look at :D and now we're gonna go out to lunch and celebrate!

(Also, Daisy, your postcard came today xDD thank you! *snug!* It had good timing ^_~)
