Re: New pet: Jollin
Squeeeeee a fox pet! Look at the huge ears!! So so so cute. I love the markings. They're a really great way to incorporate the palette colors... sun actually looks good. So surprising. I also love common and marsh. And the ear fluff is so fluffy! And the tail is so huge! And the nose is so cute!
I've been itching to change a couple of my pets... this is so great. I want to see redraws, too! I'm not sure I adore the pose of the common one enough to pick one already--there's a lot of space to the left, and it's odd to me that it's not centered. But a fox pet. Yes please. Ohhhh I want to see glacier!

I think Rah is the artist.
I'm also looking forward to Glacier, after the Glacier Popoko was released I was sure I was going to make my pet Ice that, but I think I'll wait to see if we get a Glacier Jollin because it has a lot of potential!

Re: New pet: Jollin
My first impression: a little bit creepy. It has a triangular head and some of the colours look like they have pimple spots. D:
I think I would be a lot more fond of it if not for those spots. They just seem a bit forced.
I do look forward to the redraw colours though, and it's nice to see something unique. And I love the cream Jollin (I can bear the spots on that one), but I like almost all cream pets anyway.

YAY, IT'S OUT, finally!
Rah is the artist, Heilos (and it's her birthday today, too -- Happy Birthday, Gemma!). I love these guys (the ears! The big fluffy tail! The contented expression!) and I'm going to create one straight away.

I really think it's adorable and can't wait to see the redraws but right now I agree with Not a Kitty about the spots, they really look like it's breaking out to me D: I also find the art a tad too realistic but it's lovely none the less
Other then that, it's a freakin' FENNEC FOX, how could I not love it XD Hopefully a redraw will appeal to me more

It's a very nice pet, though I'm not getting any urges of 'NEED ONE NAO!' so I'll wait and see some of the redraws. ^^ Initially the spots seemed too busy when I first took a look at them, but I think I'm used to it now. The off-centerness bugs me after Ty pointed it out, but overall I do like it. I have a feeling the redraws will look especially awesome so I'm eagerly awaiting them.
Re: New pet: Jollin
-dies happily- It's perfect. I love it. I love the fluffiness. I love the spotty coat. I love the big ears. I love that it's a fox. Hell, it's a Fennec Fox at that! Rah, I LOVE YOU 4EVER. ;o;
I can't wait for the redraws. This is so exciting! A great way to start off the new year. I'm literally shaking from such joy.

Re: New pet: Jollin
I guess I'm not as jubilant as everyone else. The real animal is cute, but this one seems off in key points. I know it's supposed to have big ears, but they look too big to me. Their positioning further back on the head is how they're able to fit on the real animal, but here it looks like it has a cone head or some other bony growth between them. And instead of the cheeks coming in to give the head the overall look of an upside down triangle, they stretch outwards. That tuft of fur underneath the cheek also looks weird. And I guess my biggest complaint here is that aside from the spots and markings, there's absolutely nothing to distinguish it from a real fox. Not in the tail, the eyes, horns, scales, teeth, hell even the standard copy and paste wings. Which I think is a wasted opportunity. That, combined with it being another four-legged fluffy thing, leaves me underwhelmed and not excited for this "new" species.

The art's nice, but, I admit, the majority of my enthusiasm for seeing potential redraws was overwhelmed by my feelings of "ANOTHER cute furry quadruped?"

I agree with Huggles that the ears seem too large. They're flamboyant and take the focus off the pet too much for me. It's cute, but I'm not feeling the fangirl enthusiasum like everyone else either. I will say the colorfills are very nice!
Re: New pet: Jollin
It's really cute! I don't want one, but I can't wait to see the differently-posed-colors~

Hallelujah! A FOXXXXXXX. I must get a Marsh one!
I agree that the spots do seem forced, and the Arid one especially looks like it's got a third eye and pimples. And I hate that there is ANOTHER pet with an enormous, fluffy tail. But hey, fox!
. . . I do wonder what my suggestion of a six-legged kitsune would've looked like. Probably a mutated kora.
