I'm satisfied with that, though it raises the question of where the Twilight color scheme is going. And further questions after that, along predictable lines.

Um...yeah. That hair...it must be that color and curls that's making me think of different gross things and I don't like it at all XDD

Also...the eyes and just in general seem to be very feminine? Like overboardly feminine, it doesn't feel like a snake at all. And the neck, from the base of the wings up seems way too long to me. I think the older one looks a lot lighter and actually capable of flying, these wings look too hairy and bulky to be able to move well.

The revamp's gone through:

It's still not a pet I'm especially attracted to owning, but I think this is a vast improvement over the original.

I like them, they are a vast improvement to the old serpenth.

The only thing I am disappointed in is the wings. I for one was happy with the way they were in the polled version and now the primaries look too small to me.

I...I want one. o_O My favourite part is the wings; they look gorgeous but there's nothing major that jumps out as me as looking 'off' although the hair might still take some getting used to (although on certain colours more than others- the Lilac, Cream and Field especially, it looks more noticeable). My favourite is the Dawn, I like the main pink and the colours of the wings is lovely. Least favourite has to be the Lilac- the green hair just looks really off-putting.

Very pretty. I hope the darkmatter version will turn out well, since I own one of them.

The only issue I have with this revamp is that the wings look far, far too small to support it in flight. Everything else, though, is great.

I agree with Silverevilchao, I really wish the wings were bigger, more in line with the first proposed revamp.
But other then that its lovely and I'm glad it finally went through!!

The stark and sudden changes in line art squicks me so much. It's suddenly very thick and heavy near the stomach. And then around the outer eye it's so thin. It far better than the galatic though which was far too shiny/greasy looking for me. I can tolerate this. Not that I plan to get a Serpenth anyway.

I also have a bit of a hard time determining where it's tail is going. It suddenly dips I suppose.

I am really shocked that they let a pet with such drastic line art inconsistency go through as the final revamp, as that usually seems to me something they are more attentive to. It's so glaring! And distracting! And completely unacceptable, thus exiling the serpenth to the list of pets I would never own under any non-redraw circumstances. Pity, too, 'cause it's a decent revamp otherwise--the old one was awful, and this is certainly better.

It *is* a rather dramatic change from the old Serpenth, but the art is nice and I love snakes, so all is forgiven. :) (That "but" part may be the fact that I didn't own a pre-revamp Serpenth speaking, I suppose?) I can see how I could easily fit one into my pets' backstories (yes I do make connected backstories for them) when I get more pet slots, and I actually might want to now... though the random thick line is kind of distracting.

eh...eh.I dunno. Yea its better. But the right wing, its so tiny looking, I mean sure, its BEHIND it, but it looks so damn small. I keep drifting my attention to it a lot.

I didnt notice the lines till you pointed them out Sarivonne. It suffers the same thing on the hair, which is very visible on the dawn one.

Edit: Boo, I was hoping Arid would keep the dark hair..as it is now, its grey with purpleybrown highlights.

Well, at least it doesn't look like Gilderoy Lockhart anymore.

I... don't really like it, but it's not because of the artwork (which is lovely, although the line consistency REALLY irritates me as well), but just because I don't think it looks like a Subeta pet at all. It looks like it belongs on another site with more realistic looking pets (...as realistic as a snake with hair and wings can look at least), but it seems totally out of place on Subeta. I mean, compare it with the last couple of revamps we've had - feli, ruffie, etc... it just doesn't fit.

No sir, I don't like it. What the heck is up with the lineart? Why are the wings so small? It went from one extreme to the other.

There's no sudden dip, actually; the body is curled behind the wing. It's too bad we can't see it.
