Forgive me for taking the liberty of starting this ^^;

The art is certainly nice, but that isn't a pet that I would want with the new proposed one. It looks a little too chubby for my tastes, either that or its chest is set too low. And even though the legs were never long on the original, they definitely look stumpy here. The purple collar doesn't replace the old one, and the purple markings look randomly placed there.

Not really too pleased about this one. I think it could use some work.

Ohh, pretty I love how the collar was switched to the purple markings, and overall its just a huge improvement.

I think the face looks a bit flat though. Sure the old one had a rather flat face, but I think this could use a bit more depth. And some smaller eyes.

Gotta say I miss the yellow teeth though - they reminded me of rodent teeth being the color they were and I imagined the Clawison's teeth never stopped growing like rodent teeth

I really do like were this revamp is going but I do have a few nit picks with it so redline it is c:



Mostly the face, legs and that ear are bothering me, I think puttinga simple line ontop of the muzzle
really helps make the face look less flat. Also the ear should be in front of the wing in my opinion, it just
looks a lot better to me O: and I tried to make the legs a bit thinner since they look very chibi right now.

I know the collar is probably going to be done away with but I wanted to see what it would look like on
this revamp and well I kinda like it better with the collar XD but I can get use to the markings I suppose.
One other tiny thing that bothers me is the bottom of the right eye, I think it could be more round but
honestly that's not a big deal if it's not touched XDD

Oh cute. Definitely an improvement over the originals, I wouldn't hate owning one of these. I like the collar becoming markings, I think it works well. I think the eyes could stand to be a bit taller, and having four toes seems forced on this, even though it has that many on the original. The wings look a little off but I can't explain how, it just seems like they're bending at a strange place. And I think the muzzle definition could be helped by darkening the shading a little bit so it's more visible, I think the line on the redline above makes it look too much like a bear.

I don't like it.

The art is huge improvement, but it looks more like a revamp of chibi than the whole species. I'd like for it to keep the collar. I don't like that it was changes into a fur pattern. I also don't think that the shade of purple being used works well with the blues. The extra markings look like an accident to me, and it's missing the knee swirl. I liked the eye marking as a triangle/arrow type thing. Now it looks too similar to the Anyu's eye markings. The pet looks chubby, and the legs look blocky.

Over all, I think they need to work on this a bit more. However, the polls are in favor of the new one.

i was waitng for a poll to come out like this, i mean for the clawsion, but it could've been a tad better. the chest should be a little higher (as for the most part) and the legs less chubby, unless they look chubbby just because the chest is low.
the face is qwuite an improvement, and thankfully the teeth arent YELLOW!! and i think the unnaturally colored strip of hair is a better idea than a collar. it doesn't look like a dog, and it shouldn't either. in fact, i don't know what the heck it is supposed to resemble anyway.

I think if you're going to keep one non-biological part--the earring--you ought to keep the collar, too. The purple looks bizarre, out of place, and too obviously a collar substitute. I don't like the purple of the teeny diamonds, either. I don't think the markings actually had to be improved in that way. It's fairly minor, but the diamonds are so dark that it really draws the eye. Just kind of looks like a splatter at first. I also find it very odd that the markings around the eye are pointed the other way now.

But, even with those criticisms, it's such an improvement overall that it's kind of a relief.

I'm 90% in love with this revamp, but I agree, it does look very Chibi. Too short and stocky, and too huge pupils. Muzzle could use some definition. I hated the collar on the other one, and think that the slash of color is much better. The earring looks stupid now - frankly I'd love it if it was gone entirely. Pets with accessories (such as the Clawsion and Montre) make me think that it's someone's fursiona, and I can't make the pet "mine."

Is it some sort of rule that all pets must have Kumos-bangs? It seems like tons of pets have them now

Hmm, I liked it with the old collar, too. I much preffer it to those purple markings. And those little purple diamonds on the body look random, like and after thought. They're just little tiny things, but I actually hate them like you wouldn't believe. Though I like the two larger diamonds because they're subtle.

On the other hand, the purple collar/marking thing might look amazing with the other colorfills, so I'm kind of torn. (But I'll hate those tiny diamonds either way.)

And the wings... The ends of the wings should always, always be bigger than the base of the wings. These ones look so amazingly awkward. They should probably be moved down a bit, too, seeing as they're coming out of the poor things spine instead of it's shoulder blades.

But other than that? It really needed a revamp. And I love everything else about it. (White teeth ftw!) I'd never own one, no matter how they revamped it, so really, I wont complain no matter what it's final version looks like. The old one's horrid. And I'm already looking forward to a revamp of the blood red one.

ETA: It looks a little less like a bear now, and more like a sabretooth. YAY.

I like it. I like the new markings. The art is a huge improvement. And in general, it's just a lot better looking than it was before. That said, the eyes are ginormous (yes, they were originally, but the eyes were ugly then, too), the face/muzzle area could use more shading (as it is, it reminds me of a pug, and I hate the way flat-faced house pets look as a general rule), and the wings need to be smaller at the base (they look to be the same width the entire length and they do look weirdly bent at the top). Other than that, I'm looking forward to this revamp (hopefully it won't go the way of the hekei), and I can't wait to see what the redraws look like.

Ditto Ty on the new markings. They look distinctly out of place. I still don't like it, but it's miles better than the old one. So, this was a triumph?

The face is really flat. That has to be the first thing I notice whenever I look at it. That and how huge the eyes are. Granted, the old clawsion had large eyes, but these remind me of a chibi. The toes seem awkward too, like Joey said. I prefer four toes on pets, but something seem so... wrong with the paws.

That aside, it's a really nice revamp overall. The purple markings are kinda neat and could be interesting on colorfills and redraws, but I'm not entirely too keen on them. The neck slash is certainly nice, I think, but after seeing Heilos' redline I can't help but wonder how an official collar would look on the revamp. Oh, and I do like the big, round ears. Too cute. <3

Ditto. Nothing else catches my attention at first, just the fact that it has a huge, flat, squashed face with frighteningly tall pupils. The entire head looks like it'd be made out of a flat piece of paper while the rest of the body looks round and well-defined.

I do like the purple markings, though. ^^;
