Hydrus Kerubi
I think Rah did a lovely job with it! The facial expression is lovely, and the pose is very different for a Hydrus pet, I rather like it. I especially love how the blue color on it really -pops-. It's very vibrant and really, really stands out, but in a good way! I adore the look on its face; it reminds me of Wyn when he's pissed off and gives us a final look to let us know!
I hope Zebru likes it, she's been waiting for one for ages xD

Re: Hydrus Kerubi
I love the protruding fin parts. The hind feet are really cute, and the tail is displayed so nicely! The light eyelids are a bit odd, but I'm getting used to them. It just makes it look like the eyes are wide open, at first. I like the circular pattern around the eyes a lot, and the starfish on the backside, hee! Overall, it's very cute. Good pose, good mood, good features.

Re: Hydrus Kerubi
I have to agree with Jessi, I LOVE how the blue just pops on the kerubi's fur ;
The pose just works so well, it looks fairly pissed off and I like it <3
The little starfish is a nice touch, it's not too detailed but the patterning
is just enough to make it nice to look at c: Very lovely.

Re: Hydrus Kerubi
I love it. I'm thinking about getting one (as soon as I decide what I want for my free pet). I love its patterning and the colors, AND THAT TAIL, and the fin things. XD I think the little horns are unnecessary, but they're so small I can barely see them, so no worries. Actually, this is the first kerubi that I really like. And it's awesome.
Re: Hydrus Kerubi
I wolf whistled LOUDLY when I saw this.
I'm infatuated.
I'm a huge fan of the pose and I *adore* the blue. The eyes are amazing.
It's ironic, too, because just this morning it occurred to me that there isn't a pet that I'm interested in getting at the moment, and I've got nothing to paint the pet I'll be getting with my new pet slot next month.
Love it so much.

I'm not a real big fan of hydrus but I'm loving this! Like Jessi, I just love how the blue stands out. I also love the attitude it has. The look so reminds me of a cat. I've had a few cats give me that "Piss Off" look. I have to say the tail is my fav part, it's so fluffy! **plays with it** Great job Rah!

I will agree that the pose, art, and fins are fantastic but I find the bright blue on the tail rather distracting. It seems sort of out of place to me...I guess it could be because usually the marks on the tail are smooth and sometimes have a slightly darker outline...that could be throwing me off. And I guess it's because the tail is so large and seems to kind of be the main focus of it.
Aside from that, it is really lovely.

Re: Hydrus Kerubi
While the bright blue does make it stand out nicely...it kind of seems to lack shading, though I know it doesnt when I look closer. I adore the tail.
Re: Hydrus Kerubi
Love the blue markings! Especially the spots around the eyes and the blue toes.
The different pose is great, executed well. The only thing that bugs me is the curl in the tail; I can't put my finger on why, it just looks odd to me.

Oops, my karma ran over your dogma.

Oh, this is so cute! If cute is even the right word XD I changed Mood Ring into a Kerubi, the Hydrus part will probably come later. Really nice pet ^^.

It's pretty cute. The pose is unique and executed nicely. I love the popping blue and the expression on it's face. It looks a little flat, but that's minor. I'm not a Kerubi fan, but this is probably one of the best Kerubies I've seen. Good job to the artist.
Re: Hydrus Kerubi
I really love this pet! It has a great pose, patterns and the face is adorable. I'd turn Puss into one, but I don't want to waste her paint job xD
Re: Hydrus Kerubi
I LOVE this! I'm really battling with myself over getting one, I've always had a soft spot for Kerubis. c:
(although to be honest I just love Hydrus and I ADORE the attention they've been getting lately!)
The face is great, I LOVE how the markings were executed, and I really love the placement of the fins. Very nice. I especially love those back legs, something about them makes me happy. Such cute little paws!
I do have a tiny problem with the tail though. It seems somewhat... bent in half, rather than a natural fluffy tail pose. Then again, it's a small issue and it's not enough to make me dislike the pose at all. c:

Meh, I'm not really a fan of this.
The pose is alright and the tail is cute, but I'm really dis-liking the very vibrant blue everywhere on this pet. I have a soft-spot for hydrus, and my sister (who LOVES the color) has several drool-worthy pets, but after taking a look at this kerubi and comparing it with my sister's hydrus pets, there's a definite color difference. Did the color palette change recently? A lot of other hydrus don't seem to have so much of that electric blue color. If that was toned down a lot, I'd probably like this pet a lot more, seeing as LOVE kerubis as a whole and have somewhat of a 'gang' of them.

Re: Hydrus Kerubi
I love this, particularly the shade of blue used. It looks great with the brown. Hydrus pets aren't really my thing, but if I was going to get one, it would probably be this.
