Naoqui, Naowi, Naoti
Naossi, Naoci, Nauia
Napia, Naaia

Mimetic ("Reflective or representative of actuality or reality of human experience")
Metonymic ("using the name of one thing for that of another with which it is closely associated")
Glandular (Yes, I do have a sore throat tonight. Why do you ask?)

Random French names:
Disparu and Disparue are both free-- "disappeared, vanished, gone."

Comprime' "tablet medicine"

Wheee! I've found a new favourite toy! I've been playing with Excel since yesterday to restore my old names list, and I've now made me a handy sheet where I can just enter a list of names and make it into a clickable website. It makes checking up names so much faster, no more endless c/ping!
And I also played with the rinkworks name generator to which someone posted the link to ages ago, so now I present my first test list:
Atotia
Bleceus
Blycuius
Cehius
Chreypius
Cinyius
Clomaus
Dewius
Endetia
Ghautia
Haygius
Hifyius
Honotia
Kaujius
Lahaus
Loenius
Loozus
Lyeaius
Moreeus
Mosietia
Mosytia
Moyaius
Naymius
Nurtous
Nysyus
Ormeitia
Poosius
Refius
Rilutia
Samoius
Schoebius
Scholius
Smitius
Thriabius
Toikaius
Tolius
Tureutia
Umaus
Urneus
Woryus

Generated with the greek names option. Though I think they sound rather latin than greek ;)

I stickied this because I can. Really, I'm not sure why it wasn't with the pruning and whatnot. Unsticky this and scold me if you disagree.

For those of you in search of a fairly short and pointless name:

I did SLI, TER, TENE and SENI this morning before lectures, and here are the results.

Terf, Terg, Terl
Teneq, Teneu, Teness
Tenek, Tenev, Teneb
Tenech, Sliw, Sliu,
Slih, Slill, Slile
Seniq, Senir, Senissa
Senill, Senilla, Seniv
Senib, Senith (sounds good to me), Senish
Senich, Seniel

Edit: Lenoe, Lenossa, Lenosse
Lenoll, Lenolla, Lenoz,
Lenoc, Lenob, Lenosh
Lenole
Enby

Double-Edit:

Sisque, Sish, Sisv (unpronounceable but looks cool)
Sisth, Sissh, Sisch
Sisel, Sises, Sisef
Siseh, Sisek, Sisela
Sisev, Sisesh, Sisech
Steque, Staa, Stad
Staj, Steeled

Seriously, if you have a name format you'd like on a pet, I recommend trying it with a V on the end. Almost nobody seems to.

Quick note to say that almost half the names of the format LishaX seem to be free. Lishae, etc. Many of them don't sound half bad.

Wow, I have some TERRIFIC ones for you. Including a Pokémon.

Cascoon (#268, Cocoon Pokémon. Its body, which is made of soft silk, hardens over time. When cracks appear, evolution is near.)
Pawprints ("The marks made by the foot of an animal".)
Palatine ("Belonging to or fit for a palace")
Gryphinite (No meaning-- found while hunting something else)
Infuses ("fills or causes to be filled with something")
Allude ("To make an indirect reference")

And I'm glad my names are helping people out. :) Although I just checked on the no-longer-free ones... one appears to have been grabbed in transfer or something. Meh.
