There's a new Games Master Challenge up - lasts one week, and you have to join either Team Sun or Team Moon. No definite statements as to what type of games each team will get (eg action vs puzzle).

Enjoy!

It feels like we just had one of these.

I'll go with Moon, I guess. Watch this end up being the bad one.

If anyone is struggling with Nova Defender today (not because it's hard, but because it's tedious), it is much faster to get the needed score if you play on a higher difficulty level. I got the needed score by level 3 on Normal mode, but had to complete level 7 to get it on Easy. Also, you need to start the timer before you open the game - I learnt that one the hard way! It lasts for 12 hours, so you don't have to win that quickly.

Please learn from my experience. For the one where you need to play two games (Bruno's Backyard Breakaway and Edna's Shadow for Moon today) you can't play one game five times then the other five times.

Bugger.

Doh! On the plus side, I presume that's for the extra bonus points - aren't the bonus challenges able to be done on any day, and they don't carry the same penalties for doing them late?

Yeah, it was for the extra points. Fortunately they're both easy scores to get so I just powered through them again.

I didn't bother with any bonus prizes for Spinnacles (so much hatred) or Nova Defender (late, not my kind of game, meh meh meh).

I actually really like Spinacles, but I hate that if you want a decent score, you have to spend a lot of time deliberately NOT clearing the levels. I want to actually use some skill to get up to the harder levels, not spend an hour making crappy shots so that I have more to clear in the easier levels.

Yes, that's what bothers me. The actual game is enjoyable. Trying to get a sensible score is not enjoyable.

I loathe Super Hasee Bounce, and it seems to be in every game challenge :(

It's a rubbish game. It's completely blind luck as to whether you hit anything useful or dangerous. I want them to use Hasee Bounce like they used to, which includes some actual skill.

Petpet Rescue, a new game to hate :0D

(So agreed on Super Hasee Bounce. It doesn't seem to involve any skill to increase your score, just to not die. Dreadful game.)

I think that Petpet Rescue has taken the crown as my most-detested game. This year, anyway.

Petpet Rescue sucks. I have a new least favorite game.

Ugh, I like Snowball fight, but I cannot seem to get past 615 this year. I'm getting tired of restarting.

... the Snowball Fight score is only 350 though?

(I absent-mindedly sent at 150 - good job I went back to check the score had registered!)
