New neopets layout

I can't bear it, I can't bear it, and to think I was amused by that Meepit in the news.

Also: cluttered. Also: remind me to clear my neofriends list. Also: motherfucking ADVERTS everywhere. Also: all lookups = dead. Also: other poses? Happy poses? Sad poses? Bueller? Also: Tiny, tiny pets!

(I know it's just a game, and I always feel a bit funny getting emotionally involved to this extent, but I am rather upset.)

OMG! My beautiful pets are ruined, my userlookup which I slaved over for hours is destroyed! And my God is that layout ugly, it's too crowded, I want the yellow sidebar back, the clean white pages, less take, more stuff that people are actually going to use.

Well, quite frankly I don't think my eyes can handle the layout much longer, everytime i look at my pets I swear my eyes beging to shrivel in their sockets. that said and done, any other good pet sites anyone can recommend?

Okay, I'm done. Rusalkah and Storkenvane are actually intact, but my faerie buzz Nytko, the first painted pet I ever owned, a blob of pixels invested with considerable sentimental value for me, is ... that is not Nytko. Just no. If he's gone, I'm gone. Maybe he's not gone, of course; this could still be a horrible joke, or TNT could reconsider. But it seems likely to me that Neopets lost a paying customer today.

This new design completely destroyed all of my lookups and pet descriptions. The only reason I'm not frothing at the mouth about it (well, besides that I hardly care about Neopets anymore) is that I hastily skimmed everything and am not sure what's permanent or liable to change.

It's just so drastic... and it really affects my motivation to continue playing.

I'm SO glad that I finally got my MSP Poogle target zapped right before the new stuff went up. It got grandfathered into the old style. I was very unhappy with the way they looked in the Beta test.
